Consistently excellent, this JW Marriott has a very youthful vibe. The front desk service is fantastic, and downstairs there are many bars and restaurants, plus a subway station. It's also very close to the CBD, making it ideal for business trips.

I booked the JW Marriott Singapore through Trip.com. Despite holding the Marriott Bonvoy Elite Platinum membership for many years, the hotel refused to honor the corresponding Platinum Elite benefits.
The price on Trip.com appeared lower than that on the Marriott Bonvoy app, and this was later found to be because Trip.com’s listing excluded costs for inclusions like daily breakfast, executive lounge access, and other elite perks. When questioned, the front desk stated that 3rd party booking agents like Trip.com are granted better pricing privileges than what is offered to Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members directly.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this Marriott was so disappointing I felt compelled to share. Over my 5-night stay in Singapore, the other hotels were perfectly fine, but this Marriott was bafflingly poor.
The interior design feels like a budget motel, and the "lobby" is nothing more than a hallway. They've awkwardly tried to copy the modern, separated check-in desk trend, and it just doesn't work. In the room, the smart toilet made a constant, loud noise that was impossible to turn off.
To make matters worse, breakfast is in a separate building. The restroom there, unbelievably, has no A/C, making it feel like a public toilet at a gas station. The staff showed little to no emotion, and the chef at the noodle station was especially sour-faced.
Considering the subpar facilities and service, the price is unjustifiably high. I will not be returning.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle, right across from Raffles City Mall. With a subway station downstairs, getting anywhere is super convenient. I wasn't a fan of the dark, dim lobby; it felt like dusk even in broad daylight. The staff, however, were very enthusiastic, and the breakfast was simply amazing. My only issue was a small incident during check-in: the front desk manager offered a complimentary room upgrade, but the room they initially gave me was terrible. I insisted on getting my original room back. She only changed it after seeing how upset I was, and even then, she just offered a complimentary soft drink. That whole ordeal felt very manipulative and left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that, everything else was really good, and the turndown service was a nice, thoughtful touch.
