AC Hotel Inverness

The location is excellent. I stayed two nights at the AC Hotel in Inverness, and another Marriott-brand hotel near the airport. The AC Hotel was superior in terms of service, facilities, and cleanliness. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This was the most spacious and modern hotel I've seen while traveling in the UK. There's a river right outside, and the river view is absolutely stunning. The only minor issue was that the bathroom felt a bit off-putting; otherwise, everything was impeccable. The breakfast was also incredibly delicious, with a wonderful Scottish flavor! Since we had to leave very early for the Isle of Skye, we asked the staff for breakfast boxes to go, which was fantastic! The location is also excellent, only about a 15-minute walk to many of the meeting points for GetYourGuide tours. Finally, when we were leaving for the airport, we didn't have a car, and it's quite hard to get an Uber here. So, we asked the front desk staff to help us call a taxi, and the price was very reasonable – a really thoughtful service!

Excellent! It's right by the river, and the room was spacious. We stayed in an accessible room with three floor-to-ceiling windows, and it was clean and tidy. Parking was convenient, charged daily. The service was thoughtful. Wi-Fi was free in common areas, but chargeable in other parts of the hotel.
