Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi

We stayed 5 nights here in Centara ao nang beach resort and spa. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and connected sea. There are kids room too for my kids to play around.

Direct beach access. The hotel’s public areas and rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained, especially considering the heavy foot traffic from the beach and pools. The breakfast selection is excellent, with plenty of variety and many healthy choices.

Disappointed at the service and lack of friendliness from the staff. I guess guest service means nothing. Upon arrival I wasn’t given the welcome drink and fruit plate offered to guests. Waited patiently as other guests were offered and I was just ignored. First night I was given a room with a toilet that doesn’t flush and water leaking everywhere. Next morning the room was changed to a room with a functional toilet. At about lunchtime I was given a plate of fruit with another guests name on it which I returned as it wasn’t for me. Asked staff to clean my room so I could relax but was totally ignored to which they arrived 6 hours later. Staff never smile and when asked anything they ignore you or give an answer as if you are bothering them. The only polite staff was the gentleman handing out towels at the pool. He offered suggestions on places to go, eat or events happening around the hotel. Very disappointing stay at this hotel.

The hotel is right in front of Aonang beach and the night market.

Location is closed to shopping area, sadly it is facing a construction site. So it is dusty & noisy. During check in, we highlighted to the cleaner that our room was without both in room and outdoor sleepers. They gave me a pair of used & dirty in room slipper. We insisted to change it.  The kettle inside the room is old & not hygiene. The room at 2nd floor is always noisy during day time.
