Hotel Central

The room was much smaller than the Deluxe King Room, which was similarly priced. I'd definitely recommend the Deluxe Room over this one. The hotel's cleanliness and soundproofing were great, but the air conditioning was too strong and the fan was really noisy, making it hard to fall asleep. My call to service went unanswered. The location is excellent though, highly recommended for its proximity to Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's. My kids absolutely loved the hotel's style, and breakfast was fantastic too.

This hotel is located in the heart of Senado Square, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, and it's not far from the Ruins of St. Paul's. The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation at check-out. For breakfast, you have a choice of Chinese or Western sets, which can be delivered to your room. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait; if you're on a tight schedule, I'd recommend factoring in extra time. The sensor light in the wardrobe wasn't very sensitive, often requiring multiple attempts to turn off.

The Grand Central Hotel was the highlight of my trip to Macau. From its vibrant exterior and the unbeatable city views from the rooftop, to the room decor – everything from the large TV wall to the small toothbrush – every detail showcased extraordinary taste. Most importantly, the early morning shift manager at the G-level lobby provided thoughtful and attentive service that made guests feel very professional and reliable. This is *the* hotel to choose when visiting Macau, no question! A bit pricey, but absolutely flawless otherwise! I've stayed here for three consecutive years now, and it's consistently excellent! The service attitude is fantastic, the hygiene is top-notch, and the decor is beautiful and elegant. It's super conveniently located right near Senado Square! You get complimentary mini-bar access (once per stay), including snacks, red wine, and drinks. You can even try your hand at pour-over coffee, which is a really cool experience! We booked a twin room, and the window offered a view of the famous Ruins of St. Paul's, which was absolutely brilliant! They also noted that it was a birthday celebration, and the hotel thoughtfully decorated the room and even sent a small cake! I was so delighted!

Great location, very close to the City Hall, and a comfortable walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. The room has a hand-crank coffee grinder, and the furniture is all very retro and stylish. From the rooftop terrace, you can see the old Wynn. The complimentary drink voucher was a bit lackluster, you can probably just ignore it. 🤭

I highly recommend the balcony rooms; they are just the right size. The standard rooms, on the other hand, are a bit too small, but overall, everything is fantastic. The bellmen, front desk, and restaurant staff all provide excellent, high-standard service. The breakfast, both Chinese and Western options, is very well prepared. The building itself is old and full of character, making this a truly recommended hotel.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I'd recommend it to everyone. The location is great, you can see the Grand Lisboa right from the window. The hotel staff are also wonderful; they always greeted me with a smile and spoke so gently. This hotel is very classic, truly living up to its reputation as Macau's oldest. The elevator design is quite unique, and even the room's telephone is a rotary dial!
