Marriott Vacation Club, Waikiki

With a supermarket conveniently located near the hotel, we could easily buy food and drinks to enjoy in our room. It was a lifesaver on tired days when we didn't feel like eating out. The large refrigerator was great for storing groceries, and while there's no stove, the kitchen area was well-equipped and easy to use, making it suitable for longer stays. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. The pool was clean and relaxing, and we even got to watch fireworks from the rooftop pool area on Friday night, which made for a really special experience.

The location wasn't ideal, but overall it was good. The coffee service in the lobby and the staff's attitude were also good.

We stayed with five people. It's rare to find a place that can accommodate five people in one room, so the size was just right. There were two sinks, so we had plenty of space to use. The hotel has only been open a few years, but there was a hole in the wall of our room, which let in a lot of ants, which was a bit disappointing...

They offered Japanese language support, which made my stay very pleasant.

This is the accommodation I booked for a 3-night stay in Waikiki. It isn't right in the center of Waikiki, but it is definitely within walking distance. Since it is a new hotel, the facilities are clean and excellent. The only downside is that the resort fee and parking fees are incredibly expensive. ^^; There is a dishwasher in the room, so you don't have to do any dishes after meals. The washing machine is shared but free. Detergent and a laundry basket are provided in the room, so I used it every day. Thanks to that, I was able to avoid a laundry bomb when I returned home.

The room was very poorly soundproofed and extremely noisy. The sounds of various cars and sirens downstairs were constant and echoed all night. If there was any movement in the next room, it could also be heard clearly.
