InterContinental Bangkok

The location is absolutely perfect. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and a pedestrian skybridge just outside that connects directly to various shopping malls, so you don't have to worry about the sun or rain when you're out shopping. The front desk staff were also very nice; I asked for a quiet room away from the road, and they indeed gave me a very quiet room. The hotel breakfast was just so-so.

The Erawan Shrine is right downstairs, and it's super convenient to get to the big shopping malls. There's also a subway station right outside the hotel. Overall, the InterContinental is really great, haha! We went during the May Day holiday and saw some traditional Thai decorations in the lobby, which was really unique! Anyway,

The hotel is right next to the famous pedestrian skywalk, and the Erawan Shrine is just a street corner away, making it super convenient for reaching various shopping malls. The rooms are great in terms of facilities and cleanliness, and they even replenish fresh fruit daily after housekeeping. The breakfast spread is also excellent. My only strange experience is that my security deposit still hasn't been refunded. I checked in on April 28th, and it's May 26th today, but I still haven't received it back. Do hotels in Thailand just not refund deposits? The same thing happened to me at a hotel in Phuket last time. This time I specifically chose a big-name brand like InterContinental, and I'm still not getting my deposit back? What's going on?

The location is super convenient. The breakfast offers a good variety. The staff are friendly and helpful.
