Catone District Hotel

I traveled from Matera to Rome and checked in late at night. I didn't realize the hotel said it had a 24-hour front desk, and since I'd only stayed in B&Bs and the price was very low, I assumed the front desk staff would be out at certain times. Therefore, I contacted the hotel early, but when I noticed, the front desk staff was always there, making this a very reassuring hotel. At the other B&B, there were no other guests, so it was quiet, but this one was occupied by many people, so I was a little concerned about the noise. However, since this is my first time in Europe, I'm not sure, but perhaps footsteps echo because people usually walk around the room with their shoes on? While I understand that this is unavoidable, it was nice to sleep in such a quiet environment. The shower also had a great amount of water, which was great. Thank you!
