Mango Kesararam

Everything positive being said in any review is absolutely true. The hotel is located inside of a beautiful Pagoda area, quiet and relaxed atmosphere but five minutes walk from the city center. The owner is the best host I've ever had: great options, very nice and his welcomes (with fruit, juices, etc.) make your stay so worth it! Building and rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Very well maintained and taken care. We would definitely come back!

Definitely stay here! The host is the kindest man we’ve met in our travels. He has fantastic recommendations and sent us to places we wouldn’t have found without him and absolutely loved. The room is clean and lovely. The place is located in a pagoda and is much quieter than a lot of the hotels on the main streets, but is still quite close to downtown (15-20 min walk). We were so happy we stayed here and would definitely come back!

Boutique hotel on a budget. The owner is charming and the place oozes charm and character set within temple complex. Beautiful pool for cooling off after hot temple tours. No restaurant on site but the owner supplied complimentary mango and shakes.

5/5 stars easy! The host is super relaxed and friendly and like an everyone has said is so accommodating! He made us fresh mango and coffee when we returned from our sunrise tour of the temples as well as providing cold towels to help us cool down, he was always on hand in case we needed anything or just to say hello, he also carried our bags for us up the stairs and couldn’t do enough for us, he was a really nice guy and the accommodation has a great shower in the rooms, AC and lots of bottles of water which are replenished daily! The only thing is there is no lift to the upper floor accommodation so you have to take the stairs which can be quite steep but we had no issues however people with reduced mobility may struggle on them

Loved everything about our stay at Mango Kesararam. The rooms were awesome, it's in a quiet, tranquil neighborhood, but the best part about the stay was the owner. The owner/ manager was incredibly nice to us, and very accommodating. We arrived pretty late at night (~11pm), and immediately were asked if we needed anything to eat. He was also up in the morning (~4:30am) to make sure we made it up for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. When we returned he was happy to welcome us back with a cold towel. When we were sitting out in the common area making a plan for the next day, he brought a plate of the best fresh mangos, and he really took his time giving us a number of recommendations, specific to our needs the following day. Our flight was in the evening on the next day, so he let us keep a room key after checkout so we could shower if we wanted to before our flight. Our group is pretty well-travelled, but we've never had this kind of service before. Besides the service, the rooms are wonderful, top notch! The style of the room is very cool, with a very modern bathroom and really comfortable bed. (The owner also mentioned that if needed, there's a pull-out couch upstairs that he lets travelers stay on for free). Next, the value - it is incredibly cheap for the service and accommodations that you get. The location takes only cash (USD, Euro, or local currency), but you can pay at any time during your stay and there are plenty of ATMs for local currency or USD. The rates could be so much higher, especially for Western travelers, but that's not the objective here at all. Immediately upon arrival you understand that this is a place meant for travelers to stay and enjoy Siem Reap, not to get rich. Last thing - the location is very accurate on Google. Some guides / tuk tuks / other transport may not know you can drive into that street (by a pagoda), but the location is accurate and should be followed quite literally. This is the place to stay in Siem Reap!

Mango Kesararam is excellent - this is our first accommodation in Cambodia and I doubt it will be exceeded. The guesthouse is in a quiet area behind a temple and the rooms are very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and into town. The host Heng is extremely kind - always welcoming (with cold towels and fresh fruit) and making bookings of tuk tuks / answering all my many questions. There is a pool to cool off in. Mango Kesararam was recommended to us by friends who stayed here and did not disappoint. It has been a fabulous start to our Cambodian holiday

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. It looked very nice and clean. The hotelmanager is a very helpfull man who gave us a fruitsmoothie everytime we came back from a journey. He also arranged tuk tuks or taxi's everytime we need one. Our boys loved the swimmingpool and wifi. We had the best time!

A wonderful stay in a traditional Cambodian hotel. Heng was a great host, providing drinks and fruit on arrival and always being available to offer advice or cold towels 🥵 The location was in walking distance to local shops and restaurants as well as Pub Street but was in a wonderfully quiet location.

What a truly wonderful place to stay. Heng is so very helpful and kind, the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and air conditioning, all set within a working temple complex just a few minutes walk from the main road into town. The pool isn't big but it is perfect for dipping in to cool off and Heng happily let us go in even though it was later in the evening when we returned to the guest house. Definitely a huge thumbs up from us, we'd highly recommend staying here if you are in Siam Reap!
