The best thing about this property is the location. It was a short walk (10 minutes or so) from Rockport Center and Bearskin Neck. The beach view and parking were great. Those things are certainly worth a premium, but I do not think it's worth the $419.99 per night pre-Memorial Day we paid. The amenities are not equivalent of those typically provided at hotels costing $400+ per night. For example, there was no full-size ironing board and the iron was cheap and ineffective. There is no counterspace in the bathroom and there is no other place to get ready because the only mirror near an outlet is in the bathroom. We also couldn't figure out how to turn on the heat and it was cold the first night we arrived. There was also no housekeeping for a 2-night stay. Most frustatingly, there were no staff on site to ask for assistance. We were given key codes for the main doors and our room door, but we never saw any staff so there was no one available to ask for help, clean towels, dining recommendations, or any questions whatsoever. It was like renting an AirB&B, not a hotel room.
