JW Marriott Hotel Xi'an

Check-in is located on the 38th floor in the hotel lobby, offering expansive views. The room's soundproofing is quite impressive compared to many other hotels, ensuring a good night's rest. There is a shopping mall downstairs, making dining and shopping very convenient. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom could use some improvement, though it might just have been the specific room I stayed in. When I mentioned this to the front desk the next day, they took it very seriously and promptly sent someone to fix it, which worked well. I booked the 180-degree floor-to-ceiling window king room overlooking the brilliant night view, which came with a complimentary non-alcoholic cocktail every night. It tasted great and was the perfect way to relax both body and mind after a long day of sightseeing.

The layout was spacious, featuring a wet-and-dry separate bathroom, and equipped with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the mattress—it provided great support, and I've already ordered the same brand on Taobao! Regarding the service, Lily from Guest Relations was particularly attentive. She patiently assisted us throughout our stay, giving us a very detailed introduction when we were choosing our room. She explained the features and vibe of each room type clearly, helping us weigh our options with great thoughtfulness. Whenever we had a request, she responded promptly, making communication comfortable and natural. The hotel has a very stylish ambiance, and the public areas are well-maintained. The interior design incorporates wonderful Xi'an local characteristics, which is a great touch. Its location is very convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Both the hardware and the service details made us feel truly comfortable and cared for. The entire stay was efficient and thoughtful. We are very satisfied with this stay and will definitely make this hotel our top choice next time we visit the area.

Knowing that my coat got wrinkled in the suitcase, she even had a garment steamer sent up to the room. Ambience: The 38th-floor lobby is great for taking photos, and the interior design is very grand and stylish. Facilities: The air purifier is extremely quiet. Cleanliness: Absolutely no blind spots. I'm someone who pays close attention to details, and while many hotels have dust in the four corners behind the nightstands, this hotel was spotless.

The whole stay was effortless and completely stress-free, and it was nice and quiet, allowing me to properly unwind after a day of traveling and sightseeing. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience with no unpleasant surprises. It's a great place to stay when visiting Xi'an, and I'd definitely consider staying here again if I get the chance.

I’d been a bit anxious about potential pitfalls on this trip, but this stay put me completely at ease — it was truly comfortable. If I’m back in town, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends visiting the area. One note: the hotel is outside the city center, so getting to major attractions by taxi takes at least 30–40 minutes. That said, if you prefer a quieter, more relaxed setting, this location is actually a real plus.

Location: Not far from the metro station, just a few hundred meters' walk. Cleanliness: The room was clean, neat, and tidy. Service: The front desk staff had a wonderful attitude and always greeted guests with a smile. The hotel breakfast 🍳 was very hearty with a wide variety of options.

Great view, spacious room, and a generally nice environment. However, the room had a very typical "business hotel" odor. When we asked the staff, they explained it was left over from "ozone disinfection." They then sprayed some deodorizer for us. The service attitude was great throughout the entire process.

Overall, a solid stay. What stood out most was the excellent coffee beans used in both the restaurant and the executive lounge—aromatic, high-quality, and perfectly to my taste. The hotel’s location isn’t ideal, but it’s still very convenient: just take Line 4 from the nearby subway station to easily reach all major business districts and attractions. The doormen were consistently busy yet attentive and professional. That said, front desk service in the lobby could use some refinement in terms of hospitality and etiquette. Breakfast was generous and well-executed. For the executive lounge’s afternoon tea service, we’d recommend adding a selection of nuts. Lastly, the food pairings during Happy Hour could be improved.
