There's a shuttle service from Morioka Station to the hotel, but you need to book it a day in advance and it costs 2000 JPY per person. The nearest train station is Appi Kogen Station, about 5 km from the hotel. It's a very small, unmanned station where you buy your ticket on the train, and it goes directly to Morioka Station. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to and from this station. The hotel is located at an altitude of 650 meters, with a 1300-meter mountain right next to it. You can see this mountain, used for winter skiing, directly from your room. The service and hotel facilities are both excellent. Perhaps because it primarily caters to winter ski guests, there aren't many places to visit nearby in the summer, making it ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay. The hotel's dinner is superb, a Michelin 5-star experience that takes about two hours.

Had a fantastic experience! The room was incredibly spacious, offering stunning views of the snowy landscape and mountains. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The hotel has direct access to the ski slopes, making skiing super convenient, and there's even a direct bus service from Sendai Airport. Plus, they offer complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails every day.

This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in the Northeast region. The views are great and the service is excellent. It's a fantastic choice for discerning travelers. The facilities are comprehensive, and they even have a laundry room.
