The location of Hotel Neo is excellent, just a few meters from the train station and minutes away from Malioboro Street. Accessibility is great for transport, stores, and restaurants. The room was clean and adequate for 2 people, the breakfast was good and on time. Because we needed to leave early for tour so breakfast was greatly appreciated. The staff were helpful also about our inquiries.

Overall, it’s a nice place to stay. However, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t check in right away, even though it was already 3 PM. This is something that should be given more attention.

I stayed there in November 2025. The hotel’s location is very strategic—right in front of the main train station and close to a minimarket. However, there are two things that need improvement. In the room we stayed in, water was leaking from the bidet hose in the bathroom. The receptionist also didn’t clearly explain the late check-out procedure, we didn’t know that our key card had to be updated first to use the lift, and the receptionist’s response was not very friendly.
