Hakodate-Onuma Prince Hotel

Although it's a bit far from Onuma Park, the hotel offers a shuttle service, including free shuttles to Hakodate Airport and Hakodate Station, which I thought was great. The open-air hot spring with lake views was also fantastic! The dinner featured pan-seared steak which was delicious, though the snow crab legs were just so-so. The 12:00 PM check-out time aligns well with the shuttle schedule, which I really liked! Plus, the room rate is quite reasonable!

Stayed for two nights. The shuttle bus was very convenient for getting around, and there's a lovely lake nearby for walks.

This hotel is nestled in a forest, offering a natural 'oxygen bar' experience. The decor is unique, the rooms are comfortable, and there's a hot spring. The breakfast has a good variety and tastes delicious. Overall, it's perfect for a relaxing vacation.

This was our second stay, following last year's visit. The hotel building felt a little old, but it was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. There's a free shuttle bus service connecting the hotel, golf course, and Onuma Park, which allowed my husband to go for a walk while I played golf. The bathhouse had a system where you could scan a QR code to check how busy it was, so I was able to go when it was quiet and really relax. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was very satisfying. It's definitely a hotel I'd like to stay at again.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location within Onuma National Park, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the beautiful natural surroundings. I highly recommend taking a cruise around the lake!

Nestled in the forest, the location offers a serene, elegant, and peaceful atmosphere. Listening to the sounds of rain, wind, and falling leaves in nature is an amazing experience, and the air quality is top-notch. However, the hotel facilities have room for improvement and aren't quite luxury-level, though perhaps that actually makes it more relaxing. It's a great getaway for middle-aged 9-to-5ers looking to unwind from mental and physical exhaustion.
