It was very nice already waiting to come back at least once. The deluxe room is the best room, you have a vip lounge., you will see.

Returned 2 weeks ago after a 2 week stay. We are frequent visitors to Fuerteventura so the isolated location of the hotel did not come as a surprise. If you have limited mobility this place is not for you. All the rooms are reached via a downward path and when you find your “block” be aware they are on two levels so if you are on top level you have to drag your cases up a flight of stairs. We were checked in by Gabriel who was friendly and helpful. First impressions were that the hotel was kept very clean. Granted, the rooms are getting a little tired but the cleaners did a great job every day. The gardeners do a fabulous job keeping all the plants in great shape. Pool area is nice, one pool in better condition than the other , with plenty of sun loungers. We were all inclusive and found the food to be ok. Not gourmet but then we didn’t pay gourmet prices. The wine was drinkable rather than enjoyable. Sonia in the pool bar is a delight. Always friendly and a smile for everyone. Now for the contentious issue……. the entertainment team! Firstly the good - Ozz and Sara absolutely brilliant. Always stopped for a friendly chat. Apart from them I couldn’t even tell you the names of any of the others as they never got close enough for us to read their name badges. We were blatantly ignored by the French speaking entertainment staff. It was awkward to say the least. Not even a “good morning “. As other reviews have stated the bulk of the “entertainment “ was in French. I tend to reserve opinion of negative reviews but in this case they were 100% correct. Anyway , to summarise, in the main we did enjoy our holiday. We probably would not go back to the hotel because of the entertainment team but apart from that we found most of the staff to be polite , friendly and very hard working. Credit where credit is due.

Hotel was very clean with a great pool set up. 2 outdoor pools and a child pool with a good number of sun beds. The indoor pool and spa area was a bonus to have too. All areas on site were kept very, very clean, a credit to the staff. Restaurants and bars were well stocked and the selection of food each day was very good. The apartments were well maintained and very clean but not to a five star standard but more than acceptable. The entertainment team were out around the pool each day and night themes in the bar each night but mostly delivered in French. Short walk to golden sand beach which had water sports and a beach bar was an added bonus. All staff were very friendly but not overly which is what I prefer.

We went here in the end of November and stayed for 7 nights. The hotel is lovely and the room was okay it does need a revamp but was kept clean. The food was lovely and there was always plenty of choice. The staff on the front desk were very helpful. There was only one occasion with a reception staff member when I went up in the night time and was asking about replacing the coffee sachets and was told in a very rude and abrupt manner favourite members only. No explanation that was it. Sonia from the bar was amazing lady so friendly and happy made our stay. Sara was also incredible and kept all the people staying there entertained and always took time to chat with you. She is an asset there. However to the reason to why I would not book there again unless things changed was the Animation team. Where do I start they were rude and did not talk to any non speaking French people. They only ever spoke in French and did not even take into account that there are people from all round the world there not all French. They did not care about anyone else unless you were French. The entertainment was appalling and we were made to feel very unwelcome as the shows were all aimed at the French people staying there. Sara was the only one who took the time to translate to English and Spanish. It felt like we were not in Spain as the language was not used and it’s such a beautiful language. She was constantly interrupted by the Animation team who tried to with play music over her or talk over her. The beautiful lady deserves a medal for putting up with that. I can say that we felt like all the entertainment was aimed at the French speakers. Some nights the tension in the room was palpable and everyone was talking about it. This has put me off staying there as the entertainment is part of the experience. I have looked at other reviews and they say the same thing. I would advise anyone wanting to stay there if you are not French it creates a very bad experience. Which is a shame as the hotel is lovely and all the bar and catering staff and cleaning staff are lovely. Massive let down that this is allowed to be continued with the Animation team when the hotel are aware of this issue. We did complain to the front desk about this. If this changes we would go back but not while you have the Animation team there.

Amazing experience first time in Canary Islands This was a surprise holiday for my husband birthday I was a bit septic based on reviews but I was surprised for good in most of thinks They can do better on welcome the guests like take their to their room which we didn’t get that someone at reception just showed us on the map where was everything and of you go . The room was nice and big enough the bathroom was like 20 years ago painted over the tiles and rested No slippers no gowns But still we enjoyed and the best thing was the view and the beach absolutely stunning
