Pros: Great for kids! The beach has fun water activities and vendors, and the outdoor children's center is also very engaging. There are plenty of kids' activities in the pool too. Plus, the hotel's location is excellent. There are many great restaurants right outside, and it's just a short walk to the bustling downtown area.
Cons: We could never get a sun lounger. Even setting an alarm for 7 AM didn't help. This is completely unacceptable, especially for the price we paid for our room! It's ridiculous to have to rush down to claim a spot when paying so much. They should really have a VIP area or have hotel staff reserve loungers. This really detracted from our vacation experience. Also, our room had a musty smell, indicating they hadn't done a good job of mold removal. The stairs in the room were incredibly steep, making us nervous going up and down. And the night light was a nightmare! It would turn on with any movement and wouldn't turn off. We had to call the hotel at 3 AM to have them completely disable it so we could finally get some sleep.
Overall, it was good, and I'd consider staying again. However, I definitely wouldn't book this expensive room next time. A cheaper room would probably be a better option.
