Metropark Hotel Mongkok

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I spent a lot of time choosing among many hotels before my trip, needing something with convenient transportation, twin beds, and a slightly larger room. After careful selection, I landed on Metropark Hotel Mongkok. The service here is the best I've experienced out of dozens of hotels I've stayed at in Hong Kong. From the front desk during check-in and check-out to the housekeeping staff, everyone made guests feel incredibly welcome and at home. The transportation is also super convenient, with two MTR lines just a few dozen meters' walk away. Nearby, you'll find everything you need: tea restaurants, BBQ places, McDonald's, Sasa, Wellcome, and ParknShop. A few hundred meters further down is the bustling Nathan Road. The room itself was also spacious enough for three suitcases without a problem. They even provided a universal adapter, a weight scale, and earplugs, which was a great touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

A really bad experience. This is the first time I've encountered a hotel that makes you wait until exactly 3 PM to check in, even if rooms are available. The queue was incredibly long, and with it being 37 degrees Celsius outside, the lobby was packed. The process was super slow. On top of that, you have to pay for toothbrushes, and even after finally checking in after 3 PM, the room wasn't clean. There was moldy furniture – I wonder how long it's been since it was last wiped down. And I got itchy all over from some kind of bug. They provide a hairdryer, but there's no plug in the bathroom, so be aware of that. You really need to compare hotels carefully before choosing one.

The room was great and very clean; I especially loved the panda-themed decor. Although the space was a bit compact, it was perfectly sufficient for four people. The location is excellent, right next to the subway station, and there's a direct bus to Macau right across from the hotel. It made getting around, shopping, and dining incredibly convenient.

The room was clean with two large double beds. It was a 'Panda' themed room, and there was still plenty of space to walk around even with our luggage open. The only issue was a slight odor in the bathroom on the first day, but it was gone by the second day. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.

The mattress was too soft, which gave me back pain. The room wasn't too small, which was acceptable. It's very close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around and also for walking to shopping areas.

Although the hotel room was a bit small, I didn't find it dirty as some online reviews suggested. In fact, I thought the cleanliness was excellent, the hotel service was good, and the transportation was very convenient.

The hotel's location and service were quite good, but the hygiene was really subpar. I found the previous guest's eyelid tape on the bath towel... and then I broke out in hives all over my body after sleeping in the bed. I really can't accept that. I won't be coming back.

The hotel's location is super convenient. We were traveling with a child and they gave us a panda-themed room, which made our kid so excited they started cheering the moment we stepped in!

The location is excellent! The airport bus goes directly to the hotel, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's just a 2-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station, making it convenient to get to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei by foot, MTR, or bus. However, the hotel facilities are very old. The carpet looks like it's seen better days, probably hasn't been cleaned in over a decade. The hotel hosts a lot of tour groups, and the soundproofing in the rooms is poor. They do provide free earplugs, so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to look elsewhere. I guess you get what you pay for, considering the cheap price and great location.
