The rooms are newly renovated, and the buffet breakfast is decent. The beef brisket noodles are especially delicious. However, the hotel is not fully restored from the renovations yet—the pool and spa facilities are still closed. It feels like it would be better to visit again in about half a year when everything is sorted out.

Impeccable attention to detail and full of charm. A bit pricey at 6,000 to 7,000 RMB a night, but thankfully I was upgraded to a suite.

The location in Central is exceptionally prime, right next to Victoria Harbour. The service was quite warm and I received a room upgrade. Overall, the service lives up to the status of a Mandarin Oriental flagship. It's definitely worth a stay at least once. However, there were also quite a few shortcomings: ① I stayed in a newly renovated room, and the hair dryer had a current leakage issue! I already reported this to the hotel, though they failed to reproduce the problem. However, I did get shocked while using it. This is a serious safety hazard. Regardless of whether they could replicate it or not, I strongly suggest replacing that hair dryer. ② The windows seem to have been left unmaintained and unfurbished. The soundproofing is rather poor, and traffic noise from outside clearly leaks through the operable window panels. To my understanding, simply replacing the weatherstripping with brand-new ones would do the trick. Yet, the noise control was simply not handled properly. ③ The toilet is still a non-smart one; even just swapping it out for a heated toilet seat would greatly improve the user experience. Weren't they undergoing renovations? ④ I didn't receive any turndown amenity, which was quite strange as it should normally be provided. The absence of this made the experience feel incomplete, and I believe a flagship Mandarin Oriental should definitely have it. Therefore, I feel the service still has minor flaws, though overall it was pretty good. But there were quite obvious issues with the facilities, which detracted from the living experience.

This time, I stayed at the renovated Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, with my room directly facing Statue Square. The breakfast at Clipper Lounge was delicious, and both The Mandarin Cake Shop and the rooftop bar were stunning. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong, big thumbs up! 👍

Everything was great, it's just a bit dated. If we're talking about the most beautiful Mandarin Oriental, the one in Guangzhou is still the best.

I wanted to experience this hotel one last time before their renovation, but my stay got off to a bad start right from check-in. There was no welcome drink, and even though I booked the Mandarin Club, I wasn't asked if I wanted to check in there. What really shocked me was finding an opened, half-empty bottle of water in the closet. After I complained, they responded quickly, and a staff member came to replace the water, saying they'd never encountered such an incident before. They later sent a bottle of red wine, but such a basic mistake is still unforgivable. The service at the Mandarin Hall restaurant was great, and the food quality was decent. As a loyal fan of Mandarin Oriental, my overall experience this time was just so-so.

I was lucky enough to experience the old-money and vintage ambiance of this 'fan' (Mandarin Oriental) for the first time, just before its complete renovation in June. As the flagship of the Mandarin Oriental, everything from the doorman service upon arrival to the in-room amenities immersed me in its charm. This time, I specifically booked a sea-view suite, offering views of the Ferris wheel and Victoria Harbour. However, the view wasn't as stunning as looking at Central from Tsim Sha Tsui. The public areas of this 'fan' are particularly luxurious, and the hotel is very generous with its complimentary offerings. Highly recommended!

I wanted to leave reviews during my stay, but there wasn't an option for that. I rarely write reviews, but after this stay, I felt compelled to. This was my third time in Hong Kong, and my parents' first. The transportation is incredibly convenient, whether you're heading up the mountains, exploring the sea, or just moving around the city. The facilities are high-quality and exceptionally well-maintained; it's hard to believe they're undergoing renovations in June because they seem perfect as is. Of course, I'm still looking forward to seeing the new look! I tried the newly opened breakfast restaurant in Prince's Building once, and it was very elegant. The restaurants, bakery, and bar are all worth trying. One area for improvement could be the consistency of service among different staff members; it would be great if that could be standardized.

Service was exceptional! Upon requesting an extra bed for my 6 year old, Sam the receptionist proudly responded that the bed was prepared and ready. Can’t get this level of service off the other 5 star hotels. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the shower water pressure to the comfort of the bed. We felt at home and would really love to return, just not sure if my wallet would agree.
