The hotel is within walking distance to town and their employee, Logan, is very helpful - he brought us a lamp and gave us correct directions after the hotel's text "service" gave us wrong ones (hence the second service star in our review is for him). But that said, "inn" is a misnomer. No breakfast, sleepers laid out on the porch, absolutely no one to greet you upon arrival nor on the premises at any time we were there. Be prepared to "register" by phone. And if you decide to stay, do not accept room 103. The heat was on in the bathroom (high 70s to 80 degree day) while the air conditioner was on in the bedroom. You cannot turn off the a/c and open a window because all the windows are painted shut, except one - which has no screen. Logan brought us an extra lamp because the room was incredibly dark - both in decor and in lighting (decorative but worthless bedside table lamps). If your idea of "amenities" is a child's playroom, fuss ball, and awful coffee, and you are willing to pay inn prices, then this place is for you. My wife and I reserved for two nights, we left after one. (fyi - cell phone service in Lenox is notoriously spotty with many dead zones).
