Merchant House Chiangmai

It is a great place for a quiet rest. I think it is worth considering if you want to enjoy a vacation with your family. The air was fresh, the service was excellent, and I especially liked how quiet it was.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the in-room amenities are excellent, the water pressure is strong, and the food is delicious.

The soundproofing was terrible! It was infuriating to be around by fellow Chinese tourists. Adults were yelling, children were crying, doors were being slammed, and chairs were being moved – it went on from morning till midnight! Even after I kindly reminded them, it got even noisier. Shameful fellow Chinese tourists, disgusting! If you're looking for a hotel like this, forget it. There wasn't even anyone at the front desk! The location was out of the way, and the dim lighting made it very uncomfortable. Luckily, I only booked one night. I quickly left. Terrible character of these Chinese tourists! Terrible hotel!

The accommodation was great and the rooms were beautiful, but the entrance might be a bit far in.

The hotel atmosphere is very good. It gives a feeling like being in a foreign country. The room is well-proportioned. If I have a chance, I will come back to stay here again.
