We had a wonderful stay at Karma Kayak Gili Trawangan. The staff were absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always happy to help and full of great local knowledge. Our room was lovely: clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up, with a private ensuite that made the stay feel easy and relaxed. The location is perfect—just across the road to the beach, with fantastic snorkelling spots right nearby. The food was a real highlight. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, making it something we genuinely looked forward to each day. We also hired bikes via Karma Kayak which was really easy! Overall, Karma Kayak is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with incredible staff, great food, and an unbeatable location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gili Trawangan.

Our favorite Place! We spent 4 nights on Gilli T, and we wish we had stayed here the whole time! Bali is so crazy busy with traffic and people-you literally spend 2 hours in the car to go a few miles. This island was so relaxing and quiet! The staff are lovely and the food is great! No TV in the room, so you can really unplug!

Ths was a lovely 3 night stay. The staff can not do enough to look out for you and the spot on the beach is just awesome. Beautifully kept room, lovey breakfasts and on the quieter side of the island but still only a 20 minute walk to a livelier spot. But that worked for me...

The location right on the beach in the slightly quieter northeast of Gili Trawangan, with excellent snorkeling right in front of the hotel, is fantastic. There's also a seating and dining area under shady trees directly on the beach. The rooms are freshly renovated in a local style! A refrigerator, coffee maker, and safe are provided. The staff is friendly and attentive, the price-performance ratio is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious (self-service fruit and Nescafé, plus a sweet or savory breakfast à la carte option). We've stayed at this hotel several times and would love to return!

The resort is nice even if a little dated, the staff are friendly. The location is really very inconvenient from the port where you arrive by boat. We had to walk about 2 km with heavy suitcases carrying them in the sand and rough and dirty roads because the only alternative means of transport was the cart pulled by poor exploited and abused horses which I wholeheartedly hope tourists stop using. We tried to use the bikes rented in the resort to transport our luggage but they practically prohibited us from doing so, tacitly supporting this exploitation, making us understand that there is some sort of mafia. Furthermore, the island is nothing special: very dirty, poorly cared for and the people really unpleasant.
