Hilton Urumqi

The hotel lobby is spacious and impressive, and the rooms are large with excellent service. The front desk lady was gentle and considerate. The bellhop who handled our luggage was very patient and meticulous. Most of the people in the lobby were dressed in suits, giving off a business-like vibe.

The price of the Hilton Urumqi isn't low, but the facilities are a bit dated. Specifically, the hairdryer could be upgraded; the old model has terrible airflow, it takes ages to dry my hair, and I had to wait for it to air dry before I could sleep. For a room that costs around 1500 a night, there's definitely room for improvement in many areas. The mattress wasn't very comfortable either. Parking at the entrance was quite convenient, and the hotel lobby looks grand and stylish. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of options. I'd suggest improving the small details.

The Executive Room is larger than the King Room and includes two afternoon teas and light meals, making it quite a good value for money. The light meal on the first day even had shrimp, which was a pleasant surprise for an inland city. The hotel itself is very grand, and parking is super convenient with plenty of spaces and easy access. I really liked the room design, where the shower room is placed in the middle, providing privacy and also blocking out the air conditioning noise. The check-in/check-out staff and the lobby porters were all very service-oriented and excellent. Overall, the hotel's style is exactly what I like, and both the service and facilities are outstanding. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and tidy, and there were plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. The hotel service was five-star standard, and the front desk service was excellent. However, the hotel breakfast wasn't quite up to five-star expectations.

Very good, the service was excellent. The front desk guy helped me find my lost ID, and another staff member even gave me a free breakfast. Xinjiang is truly beautiful!

Excellent 👍, clean, quiet, and a great breakfast! The location isn't the best, as it's in a newly developed area, so getting to the city center is a bit far. Overall, it's still pretty good and I recommend it.

The room was just okay, and the sofa was quite dirty with stains. More importantly, the service was really lacking! I called for an extra blanket at night and had to wait an hour!

The Executive Lounge benefits are great, offering afternoon tea and light meals. From the room, you can see the Big Buddha of Hongguangshan directly across. The service also matches the hotel's positioning, with front desk and lobby staff being enthusiastic and professional. I will definitely stay here again next time.

Check-in was okay overall. However, before going to bed, I requested an extra blanket and four bottles of mineral water. It took three phone calls and over an hour for them to be delivered, with no apology whatsoever. The worst part was finding an uncleaned condom right before turning off the lights to sleep – that's just unacceptable. I bet it's still there now; perhaps someone should check room 0923. I understand the hotel is old and the facilities are dated, but that's no excuse for such a drop in service quality. If this is how things are, how can it represent the brand and the city's image properly?!
