Princess Kamala Beachfront Hotel

We really enjoyed our time at Princess Kamala. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach. The pool was awesome, especially because we booked a room facing onto the pool. Great value for money. The only concern was the loud, old air conditioner.

An incredible hotel in an incredible location…the Thai touches are lovely, both in design and decor. The staff and restaurant are excellent. The beach is a short walk across the street. Can’t wait to return to Princess Kamala!

Cleanliness in general is ok, but room cleaning is quite late or towels/rugs not changed only hanged properly for towels, bathroom rug/mat totally NOT changed. Requested in online booking for a Muslim prayer mat but I think they are not reading the “request part” and then requested extra towel to be used for prayer and bathroom rug/mat as it’s too much wet but insisted that only one per room and can only exchange old rug to new rug. They don’t have soap for hand washing area in room. They need to put side tables for both sides of the bed and outside drying rack for swim wears. Staff service is good in the start only (welcoming part), female receptionist are off-putting in phone requests and check out details in 5 minutes became almost an hour without any updates/follow up to the hotel guests waiting in the seating area.

Excellent hotel for peaceful vacation in Phuket. Staff is very helpful and attentive. They checked me in 5 hours earlier than the checkin time. Very close to the beautiful sandy Kamala beach. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. Breakfast is good with very tasty omlet. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay. Thank you very much I will stay here again when I am back to Phuket!

It is a good hotel. People who complain should compare the prices first. For $70 per night for a couple, we got a clean room and breakfast. The location is superb.
