Hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar - All Inclusive

This hotel is, without a doubt, a top-tier experience with a luxurious environment and delicious buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While not cheap, it's definitely worth the price. My words can't truly do it justice. It's perfect for a relaxing, do-nothing vacation. If you're looking for an active trip, this isn't the place for you. Also, it's worth noting that almost all the guests here are Caucasian, you won't see many Asian visitors.

We spent the first part of our vacation at this hotel. The journey from the airport was quite unique and took about 1.5 hours, but that's not a reflection on the hotel itself. We absolutely loved the hotel in every aspect. It has a large, well-maintained territory with lots of different plants, terraces, and beautiful landscaping. There are even several baobab trees growing right on the property (it was our first time seeing them!). The hotel has several à la carte restaurants; we tried two, and the food was delicious at both. The main buffet restaurant also offered very good breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. There are several swimming pools. Our room was good, no complaints there. And the most wonderful part was the views of the ocean and the beach! The clean white sand was simply beautiful. Important note: the tides were quite significant (a difference of about 2.7 meters), but this didn't prevent us from swimming at any time. Overall, I would readily recommend this hotel; it fully lives up to its claimed 5-star rating.
