Maple Terrace

I stayed here for two nights as accommodation during a fishing trip. When I went out, I had trouble removing the key after locking the room door. I think they should fix that. Also, I stayed for two nights, but when I returned to my room in the middle of the night after going out, the towels and toothbrush set were still there from the previous night, and there was nothing prepared for the second night. I had no choice but to buy some at a convenience store. It was my first time experiencing something like that. I was tired when I came back, so it didn't leave me in a good mood.

During a solo trip after retirement, I found a cheap, smoking-friendly accommodation near the Ishinomori Manga Museum through a search. It was a simple two-story prefabricated building, but the weather was neither too hot nor too cold, making for a comfortable stay. Perhaps because it was empty, there was no noise or signs of daily life. There was a convenience store next door and a roadside station with a natural hot spring nearby, where I could bathe and have dinner, so even without meals, I had no problems. If I had to nitpick, the only downsides were that the toilet didn't have a bidet and the toothbrush was hard. In today's world, it's tough on smokers, so a smoking-friendly place was a valuable find. The accommodation was inexpensive, making it ideal for motorcyclists. If I have the opportunity to visit the Tohoku region again, I would like to use it again.

I was glad to find such an affordable place to stay with breakfast and dinner included. There's a 7-Eleven very close by, so I didn't feel any inconvenience since I could bring in anything I bought. The front desk staff were also very kind.
