OMO Kansai Airport by Hoshino Resorts

The rooms were quite small, and the TV was off to the side, making it difficult to even open our suitcases. We are a family of five and booked two double rooms. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel facilities and location are excellent. There's a large public bath on the 3rd floor, and on the 21st floor, they offer drinks and marshmallows until 8 PM. It's a 10-minute walk to the outlet mall, which has many brands and incredibly cheap prices. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport, but the reservation slots are limited, and the last shuttle leaves at 11 AM. In the end, we just took the JR train one stop to the airport, which was very convenient. If they had family rooms available next time, I would consider staying here again.

No complimentary bottled water. The air conditioning was quite noisy. The check-in process wasn't very thorough. The breakfast style was unappetizing. While the restaurant offers sea views and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport and the Ferris wheel, those are its only real advantages.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from JR Rinku Town Station. Our room offered a beautiful sea view, perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. We, a family of two adults and two children, booked a Japanese-Western style room with two single beds and space for two futon beds on tatami mats, which was very convenient. (We paid for four people in advance; if you don't select four people, there might be an extra charge for setting up additional futons, as it's not complimentary). The room was spacious and included a dedicated walk-in closet, with all necessary amenities. Each floor of the hotel also had a water dispenser and microwave oven. This hotel is very close to Kansai Airport, which was perfect for our early morning flight. Its location is incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to Kansai Airport Terminal 1, which takes about 10 minutes and requires advance booking. Within 100 to 200 meters, there's a large outlet mall on the left-hand side, with plenty of dining and shopping options, and you can also take a stroll by the sea. Across the street from the outlet mall, there's a fairly large Don Quijote, which is very comprehensive and ideal for picking up souvenirs at the end of your trip, including some cosmetics and medicines. To the right of the hotel, there's a Cosmos drug store with a wide range of products, also worth exploring.

This hotel is great; I stay here every time before heading back home. They offer a free shuttle to the airport, and there's a hot spring on the third floor which is perfect for unwinding. It's also super close to the outlet mall, which is very convenient.

The hotel offers airport shuttle service, and each floor has an ice maker and water dispenser. There's also a shopping area right at the base of the hotel, which is convenient for purchases. Transportation around the hotel is excellent; you can take the subway directly to the hotel's entrance. The staff were also very welcoming and professional. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

The pros are its location right next to the subway station, a dedicated luggage room, and even a luggage scale. Plus, the hotel's hot spring bath was incredibly relaxing, and after a soak, you could head up to the rooftop to enjoy the views. The cons are that the room was truly, truly, truly tiny – a 28-inch suitcase had no space to open up. Also, this is the first time I've encountered a hotel of this star rating that didn't provide coffee or tea bags in the room. Ironically, there was an empty tea caddy in the room :(

The location is super convenient, it's a new hotel just an 8-minute walk from the outlet mall! Remember to book a room close to the elevator, otherwise, it's a long walk back to your room. The 3rd-floor bathhouse is spacious enough! There's a washing machine but laundry is a bit expensive. The 2nd-floor has a Lawson convenience store open 24/7, which is a rare find. Breakfast on the 21st floor is just average. There's a free morning shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport.
