Montraj Continent Sukhumvit Bangkok

To begin with, the positive side of this stay is the location and the service. The hotel is situated very close to Terminal 21 and right next to Soi Cowboy, which is super convenient. Additionally, the staff members were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the overall quality of the building and maintenance is quite poor. The carpets throughout were worn and in bad condition. In the gym, there was a leaking window, and in our bathroom, the bathtub was leaking right where the water comes out. To make matters worse, we even spotted cockroaches in the toilet, and room cleaning was inconsistent, sometimes taking place as late as 3–4 PM. Another major issue is the elevator system. The hotel has 39 floors but only 3 elevators. One of them was out of service, making wait times extremely long. If you urgently need to head up to your room or use the washroom, the wait can be really frustrating. The room itself was just OK! Not particularly spacious, and basic amenities like toothbrushes or shavers were not provided. Lastly, be mindful of the atmosphere. Given its proximity to Soi Cowboy, the crowd leans heavily toward young partygoers, so it can get quite loud and noisy. I don’t want to be overly harsh because of the nice staff, but considering the high price and official star rating, it falls short of expectations. I honestly regret not booking the Hilton or Radisson instead. Not sure if I would stay here again.

Great location in the heart of Sukhumvit and very convenient for my trip. I had an early morning appointment at HUM, and having Anytime Fitness in the same building as HUM along with several healthy food options nearby made everything very easy. The rooms at The Continent are still cozy and comfortable, and I’ve stayed here more than once. One thing I was disappointed to see is that they are removing the different country themes and decorations from each floor. That was always one of the fun and unique things about staying here and honestly one of the reasons I chose the hotel again. The only other negative was a slightly odd smell in the room during both of my visits. Nothing that ruined the stay, but definitely noticeable. Overall, the excellent location and convenience still make The Continent a very good choice for staying in the Sukhumvit/Asok area.

Okay to begin with when we checked inn at about 4pm, 2 of the 3 rooms we booked were not ready even when the check inn time states 2pm. Then upon entering the room we couldnt help notice how worn out and dirty the rooms were… photos attached so we requested a room change which they only tried to accomodate a day later and a floor below ( worse view). Out of 5 nights of my stay one of my rooms was cleaned only twice.. Location is fine but there is no amenities in the hotel. The pool was dirty for 3 days and no one bothered to clean. Breakfast options very limited and as a family of 5 we always had to wait since they had very very limited seats… The hotel despite making multiple complaints did not even bother to reach out to rectify. Will not be staying again and will not recommend it to anyone..

The room's air conditioning temperature could not be adjusted, we requested a room change late at night, and the staff arranged it for us very efficiently. Also hotel is conveniently located.
