I recommend coming here if you're looking to just relax. There aren't many dining options nearby, though there are some family restaurants that offer better value than the hotel. The breakfast is decent, but I wouldn't recommend other meals; they're expensive and not very good. You get direct views of the White Temple from the mountain-view rooms. The infinity pool is nice, but there were quite a lot of fallen leaves and dirt/sand. I highly recommend the hotel's activities; we tried yoga, hiking, and cycling! Just be prepared to wake up early for some of them.

The staff were all smiles and provided excellent service. Although the location is a bit far from the city center, it offers a peaceful environment. The infinity pool on the rooftop is beautiful and offers views of the White Temple. The breakfast spread is extensive, with both Western and Thai options, and a highlight was the freshly grilled pork skewers. There's also a free shuttle to the Night Bazaar. However, the hotel itself is a bit run-down, with the wooden floors in need of repair. I hope they renovate it soon.

The hotel looks luxurious from the outside, but much of the hardware and software is quite old and in need of renovation. Tiles around the pool are falling off, the placemats in the breakfast restaurant are dirty, and the rooms also need maintenance. For a 5-star hotel, the wood by the bed was stained and damaged, and the toilet in the bathroom constantly leaked and needed to be fixed before use. We drove ourselves, and after parking our car upon returning to the hotel, the security guard didn't offer to call a golf cart for us. We had to get out of the car and ask the guard to arrange it. The location is far from the city center; if you don't participate in hotel activities, it takes over half an hour to get to the city. The only advantage is that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic and polite. We participated in the morning alms-giving activity at the temple, and the staff helped us with photos and videos throughout, teaching us how to perform the ritual. Unless the hotel undergoes renovations, I probably won't consider staying here again, as there are many better and newer hotels available at this price point. If this hotel were renovated, it would be a suitable place to stay, but currently, for this price, the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities are completely inadequate.

First off, it's a bit far from the city center, which is great because it means you can really relax and unwind at the hotel. All the staff are incredibly friendly, the facilities are diverse, and the rooms are very spacious! On the flip side, it is a bit older. Still, the lobby and the pool are absolutely beautiful!

Our stay at Veranda Chiang Mai was far more wonderful than we expected! ✨ Everything was top-notch, from the warm welcome and reception to the exceptional service, cleanliness, and diverse and delicious breakfast. But the most beautiful aspect of all was the stunning natural surroundings of the hotel, which made our stay a truly peaceful and unique experience in every sense of the word. I highly recommend staying here; its only drawback is its distance from the city 🌿. One of the most wonderful and distinctive features for us was the availability of halal food. This brought us great comfort and added beautiful value to our hotel experience 👍🏼. Honestly, every detail was fantastic, and the hotel exceeded expectations in every way. It was a truly beautiful experience, and we confidently recommend it. We will definitely be back, God willing. ❤️

Awesome! Breakfast was delicious, and the service was perfect. The room was spacious. I'll definitely come back! About a 20-minute drive up the mountain, you'll reach a white temple—you absolutely have to see it, it's a paradise on earth!

The hotel was as thoughtful as ever. There was a welcome drink during check-in, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The surrounding environment goes without saying – it's perfect for a vacation. The hotel has facilities like a swimming pool, restaurant, and gym, so you can stay in for days without needing to go out. I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and have always remembered it fondly. This time, I chose to stay here again. However, after a few days, I found some areas that could be improved: The hairdryer is quite old and could use an upgrade. Secondly, the bedsheets in the room were clean and comfortable, but they showed signs of wear and were a bit yellowish, so they also need replacing. Lastly, regarding breakfast, it's the same as it was 10 years ago. I hope the coffee and menu options can be updated. That would make it even more perfect. I look forward to staying again. If you stay here, you absolutely must try the restaurant's mango sticky rice. The ice cream paired with the sticky rice is a perfect match.
