Melia Chiang Mai

The hotel is a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 15-minute walk to the Old City, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I stayed in a corner flat for a week, and the room was very spacious. Housekeeping was excellent, keeping it spotless every day. The 21st-floor lounge was quiet and offered great service – a good alternative for breakfast if the main dining area on the first floor is crowded. On the second floor, there's a kids' club where children can play freely, or you can book a class a day in advance; they have a wide variety of classes daily. The outdoor pool on the second floor is a saltwater pool, and it wasn't crowded in February. Overall, the hotel was great and provided a comfortable environment for my trip to Chiang Mai.

My child absolutely loved it! This hotel is like a giant childcare center. The second floor is a real lifesaver for parents; the kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The room was a bit small, and the overall layout felt a little cramped, especially the toilet and bathroom. When we checked in, they had already prepared the sofa bed for the child, which was a nice touch. Overall, the service was good, and breakfast was decent, with a special shout-out to the fresh orange juice. If I bring my child again, I would definitely consider staying here.
