The location is perfect and the view is amazing. Room was quiet small and the bathroom not very nice .

Nothing to shout about, basic but clean. Location is excellent. Breakfast is good with several options. Property is a bit dated but is fine if you’re just using it to sleep/wash. Not enough elevators for the demand. I found the beds were hard and uncomfortable.

At present booked in big mistake . How can be 4 star bathroom chips on door bath glazing awful.Had to clean hairs of toilet seat not impressed.Location is good near to beach and room has a sea view. However balcony not accessible as Air con unit located there and just hot air being pumps out. Staff excellent helpful. 2 lifts for all floors not acceptful had to wait 5mins for lift.

My friends and I visited the cocktail bar on the 26th floor of the Grand Sol Hotel in Alicante on 2nd August. On arrival, we were very surprised by how small it was. The bar was extremely crowded, with only one young woman serving. She came over, cleaned our table, gave us a menu, and said she would be back to take our order. Within a few minutes, however, we realised just how unbearably hot it was for a hotel of this supposed standard.. There didn’t appear to be any air conditioning, and after only a short time we decided to leave because the heat was unbearable. We couldn’t help noticing that the server was rushed off her feet and working in extremely uncomfortable conditions. She looked exhausted and bedraggled. We found it unbearable to sit there and enjoy a cocktail, so I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for her to work an entire shift in that environment. We couldn’t help but notice that on entrance the reception was a total contrast with very comfortable air conditioning compared to the cocktail bar. Surely there is a duty of care towards employees, quite apart from providing a comfortable experience for paying customers. Overall, it was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

Firstly we had to wait until after 5pm for our room because they had the previous occupants on late check out. It’s very hot and humid and we just wanted to get in our room. No offer of anything to apologise, so we complained and tried to fob us off with cheap cava. The room has two bedrooms with one aircon control for both rooms so that’s normal apparently. We got another control. The lifts are tiny not good for this size hotel. This is not 4* more like a premium inn.
