I’ve stayed at all of the best Chicago hotels and the Langham is up there with the peninsula as best in the city.  My one complaint is that the pool, specifically the water, was not clean.  The large pool was very murky with visible debris on the bottom and the hot tub had a dark line of dirt/skin at the water line.  That said, the rest of the hotel was pristine and perfectly maintained.

The location, service and amenities were wonderful. The club level was also well worth it, with plenty of food and drink options for both adults and children.

The location is fantastic, and our suite (702) was exceptional—spacious, luxurious, and beautifully appointed. The hotel has a perfect location, right across from Trump Tower, and within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, the cruise terminal, various restaurants, and [unspecified location - likely a tourist attraction]. The front desk staff were very nice. Two rooms were tested: one had a weak heating system and was a bit cold; the other had a leaky toilet and the shower area was flooded on the day of check-in. Otherwise, everything was great!
