This is definitely the hotel to stay at if you're visiting Rovaniemi! The private sauna in each room was a fantastic touch. And having salmon for breakfast was a real treat!

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for and we had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were great, and perhaps because it was low season, the price was also very reasonable. The person at the check-in counter was incredibly helpful, explaining everything to us in very clear English, which was great since we don't speak Finnish. The private sauna was also a huge plus; being able to use it whenever and for as long as we wanted was fantastic. We would definitely love to stay here again.

The cottage having a sauna was absolutely fantastic! The late 12 PM check-out was also a huge plus. They even offered free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. The staff were all incredibly kind.

Santa Claus Holiday Village was one of the highlights of our Finland trip. Located only about 10 minutes from Rovaniemi Airport, it was very convenient. The holiday village is huge, and our cottage was about a 5-minute walk from the reception. We visited during the summer, so it was peaceful and quiet, but the beautifully decorated reception still made it feel like Christmas all year round. The cottage was spacious, cosy and well equipped with a kitchen and utensils, although we only stayed for one night and didn’t get to use them. We especially loved the private sauna and spent almost an hour relaxing in it. The breakfast was excellent, and we had the best smoked salmon we’ve ever tasted. We can only imagine how magical this place must be during winter and Christmas. We truly hope to return one day to experience it in the snow.

Reception is very welcoming and helpful. Minus 1 star for location due to public bus frequency from airport to the hotel is only once every hour. Also no toothbrush and toothpaste provided.

The staff who helped bring our luggage to the room were very friendly and helpful. However, I found a moldy pillow in the open closet in the room, which I assume housekeeping missed. It was quite unpleasant.
