The hotel is very close to Youth Avenue, a quick taxi ride away, making it easy to get to attractions and the train station. The transportation is incredibly convenient, and the hotel's location is excellent. Surprisingly, it's very quiet at night. The rooms are modernly designed and well-equipped, with plenty of hot water and stable Wi-Fi. I especially loved their breakfast, which featured local specialty snacks. The front desk staff were also very helpful and accommodating, assisting with luggage storage. It was a very pleasant stay overall.

After checking in, I noticed a slight issue with the room. I contacted the front desk, and the staff member was incredibly helpful and professional. They came to inspect the situation immediately, without any excuses, and proactively arranged for me to switch to a better room with more natural light. The issue was resolved quickly, and communication throughout the process was seamless. On the 26th floor, there are complimentary Hanfu costumes available for photoshoots, and you can also enjoy afternoon tea. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, free old-fashioned popsicles are offered. There's also a free underground parking lot.

It's an 8-minute walk to Marshal Zhang's Mansion and 10 minutes to the Forbidden City. The lobby on the 26th floor offers stunning city views by day and dazzling nightscapes, complete with complimentary afternoon tea and Hanfu experiences. The rooms are fully smart, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep despite being in the heart of the bustling city. After exploring the Forbidden City, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, and Liu Laogen Grand Stage, and savoring Laobian Dumplings and Majia Shaomai, you won't need a car for your entire stay at Grand Hotel Zhongyang. No rushing, no changing hotels. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a deep dive into old Shenyang, this is the perfect choice.

The only downside is that it's a bit far from the airport, but taxis are readily available, which pretty much solves that problem. It's also really convenient for train travel, as both Shenyang Station and Shenyang North Station are quite close. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and their bedding was incredibly comfortable.

It only takes about three to five minutes to walk to Zhongjie Subway Station Exit A. Plus, the lobby offers free afternoon tea and free ice cream. The coffee is quite good, and you can even get free coffee grounds sachets to put in your car to absorb odors. Overall, I'm very satisfied!
