Tälta Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark

Not my first time staying here nor will it be my last. The rooms are simple but just what I'm looking for when in the area. They have a sauna, indoor pool, and an outdoor hot tub. The property is up against a creek and they have a couple places with fire pits right by it. During the ski season there is also a bar downstairs that's a cool place to hang. The small lodges on the edge of the property are really cool and comfortable too!

Arrived in the middle of the night but the staff left us the instructions to get into our room. Very clean and great location!

Very nice stay with our dog. Very dog friendly and welcoming. Our Sturga overlooked the river and loved listening to the water. Great location easy drive to the ski slopes or downtown shops.

Talta is our go to whenever we stay in Stowe. Sauna, pool, and tub are just the things you need after a long day on the slopes. Wish they works serve breakfast though...

Worst thing, not enough hot water for a two minute shower. Tiny room, not really anywhere to put luggage. Loose floorboard in the middle of the room. No real coffeemaker in the room just a kettle with nowhere to really plug it in. Coffe urns in the lobby always seemed to be empty when I wanted coffee. On the good side the bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful hotel however the room wasn’t cleaned the entire 4 days we were there. Not enough staff. Had to ask for clean towels.

Convenient. 5 minutes to Stowe Resort slopes. 5 minutes the other way to many food options. Excellent hot tub, sauna, heated pool. Staff are friendly, communicative, kind. The property grounds facing the river are super relaxing and beautiful. Local IPAs on draft in a cozy lobby with fireplace. A++

I've been looking forward to staying at Talta during ski season but the experience was rather disappointed. The location is great, front desk staff was friendly, and room is clean and updated. However, the walls are paper thin (we stayed at one end unit on the top floor of the building), and we had to hear non-stop dog barking from 7pm-10pm, then someone watching TV during sleep time. It was a nightmare stay for a needed good sleep. People camp at the outdoor hot tub, so it's almost impossible to get in unless you keep monitoring it by wasting your night. I messaged the number they provided for noise, but no response. There's no service outside of business hours.

Loved the location - close to Stowe Mountain Resort and overlooking a river - and the cozy, modern ski cabin feel of the guest rooms and common areas. Nicole at the front desk was professional, kind, and very helpful.
