Booked for three nights and was very satisfied. It's truly a classic star-rated hotel; the service is top-notch, it's clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is good too – the shrimp dumplings were delicious.

The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and the room was very clean. The only downside was a slight odor in the bathroom, which I suspect was due to the automatic toilet. However, the service and everything else were great. There's a coffee shop downstairs, and the subway station is right outside, which is super convenient. Plus, there's a good restaurant nearby, Dongshan Restaurant, which seems popular with locals.

The room was bright and well-equipped. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive, proactively asking if I needed anything. Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. I didn't encounter any issues with noise or smoke, which was a real plus. The only minor thing was that the faucet and shower controls took a little getting used to.

They provide large bottled drinking water and small bottled mineral water, which is a nice touch. The shower is very comfortable, and the toilet is smart. The room also has a safe. The location is excellent, with many restaurants and malls nearby, and it's close to the river. The service is great, and a special thank you to Ms. Jess at the front desk for her wonderful help! The windows are sealed and cannot be opened.

The room wasn't cleaned properly; there were even peanut shells left by the previous guest. The sheets and duvet felt damp, which might be due to the cloudy and rainy weather during my stay. It's an old state-owned hotel, and the service was decent. They provided plenty of bottled water, and there are many dining options downstairs. The location is excellent, right across from the Pearl River and a famous statue square.

Recommended. Service was a bit slow; it took several calls to different departments, and responses were unclear or delayed. Housekeeping was fine. The buffet had a relatively wide variety, suitable for different types of stays. It's a shame that books can't be borrowed through the Guangzhou Library. Overall recommended.

Had a great stay! The hotel has been recently renovated, and the room even has a sofa and a bar area. The fridge was stocked with complimentary soft drinks and mineral water. My only minor suggestion would be that the faucet controls aren't quite up to modern standards, but that's a small detail. Overall, it was excellent and highly recommended – great value for money!

The smart toilet also occasionally flushed on its own, which was a bit noisy. The breakfast was standard, nothing special, and lacked characteristic Cantonese dim sum. The staff were polite, but their response time to requests was average. Overall, it's a decent, no-frills option, especially if you're a business traveler prioritizing location.
