The location is great, right by the subway entrance, making it super convenient for getting around. Everything is relatively close by. You can even enjoy a night cruise on the Pearl River in the evening or easily bike to Canton Tower. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby.

I chose to stay here again purely because the location is super convenient. The Line 2 metro exit is just steps away, and Beijing Road as well as the Sacred Heart Cathedral are both within walking distance. Haizhu Bridge and Renzhi Wharf are also very close, and you can even see Canton Tower from the bridge. The room cleanliness was good, but the service was just so-so.

My relatives from Hong Kong came back to Guangzhou for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Since they prefer taking long-distance buses, I chose the well-established Guangzhou Hotel. Initially, I was a bit worried about outdated decor, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the room. It was simple yet elegant, tastefully decorated, and well-designed. The two single beds had two adjoining chairs and two tables, and the walk-in closet was spacious and functional. The bathroom was also well-designed with a wet and dry separation. Overall, it was clean and comfortable, and getting extra bottles of water for visitors was no problem at all.

The location is truly excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere; it's right by Haizhu Square metro station. The laundry room was incredibly useful. The breakfast wasn't good. I have to complain about the faucet – it's a twist-type, and as soon as your hands are wet, it slips. Overall, it offers great value for money and I recommend staying here.

First, the good points: The location is excellent, right in Guangzhou's old Haizhu district. Transportation is very convenient, being right next to Metro Exit E. Directly opposite is Haizhu Plaza, with a well-developed commercial area around it, offering a wide variety of dining and shopping options to satisfy all tastes. The room faces the Pearl River with an open view. The hotel has been recently renovated, with no lingering new-decoration smell, and the design shows some thoughtful touches. When you have free time, you can take a stroll along Haizhu Bridge and the Pearl River. Now for the downsides: The hotel breakfast is too simple, bland, and not worth the price. It feels like there are fewer options than in some hotels that are even cheaper. Also, the taste isn't very good, though this is just my personal opinion. Given such a prime location, I really hope the breakfast can be improved. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient with check-in. They answer all questions, and the concierge service is also good. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I still feel there's room for improvement.

This hotel feels like an old friend; it's only a ten-minute drive from home. This time, I brought my 98-year-old mother here for her birthday, specifically so she could enjoy the Pearl River night view from the hotel. The beautiful river scenery was truly delightful! The hotel's environment, transportation, and nearby dining options are all very convenient. My only complaint is the incredibly odd and impractical bathroom sink in the room – it's a truly terrible design!

It was okay. The location is excellent; the metro station is right around the corner if you turn right, and calling a taxi is easy with clear navigation. You can even walk to the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur. Ordering delivery is also convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't very spacious. I'd say it's more about the convenience. The breakfast was decent with enough choices.

Traveling with my kids during the summer holiday, our first stop was here. It's a hotel with a lot of history, right next to the subway station, so transportation is super convenient. There are also many small restaurants nearby, and it's close to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. The room was clean and tidy. Definitely recommend it!

True to its reputation as an established star-rated hotel, the environment is excellent, hygiene is impeccable, and the service is top-notch. It offers great value for money. The staff were very friendly and generous; seeing that we had many people and children, they even gave us an extra breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Guangzhou!
