Sheet and pillows are of highest quality. The location is great. The premises and common areas are lovely and finely appointed. The room itself, #5, has absolutely NO room to lay out one's toiletries. The bathroom is tiny and has the smallest pedastal sink I've ever seen. No shelves for personal use in bathroom. In the bedroom, the only flat spaces are two tiny bedside tables with a lamp on each. I literally had to spread out my toiletries and make-up on the bed, and move the tissue holder from the bathroom to the bed. The only refridge, coffee maker and microwave are in the common area, which is ok, but one can't have coffee/ tea while getting dressed. So, for over $400 with taxes included, do I feel I got my money's worth - not really. The sheets were amazing but I think they take the minimalist decor style a bit too far. My advice is that they should add a triangle/ corner make-up station with mirror and tuck in stool underneath. They should also add shelves in the bathroom and a coffee maker but where to put it?

I have stayed at The Kent Collection, the Victorian Inn, many times. It is truly a special little gem in this part of Connecticut. The innkeeper and staff are incredibly friendly and will do anything to help make your stay pleasant whether you are visiting one of the local boarding schools or leaf peeping in the Fall. The house is always clean and stocked with water, snacks, maps, espresso etc. My favorite room is #3! All of the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms are newly renovated, fresh and crisp while still maintaining the charm of a historic home. While in Kent do not miss Wilsons cafe for fresh pastries and good coffee!

We stayed at the Victorian and had a wonderful time. We were upgraded to a suite and had a lovely outdoor private patio area. Kelli, the Innkeeper, was very attentive. The kitchen area was well stocked and accommodated our needs. We look forward to returning soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the Firefly Inn and can’t recommend it highly enough. The location is ideal, just a short and easy walk to town. The inn itself is incredibly charming and spotlessly clean, with so much attention to detail throughout. Joe, our innkeeper, was truly exceptional. He checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and offered thoughtful recommendations on where to eat, which made our stay even better. Our room was beautiful, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could want, including a cozy gas fireplace. We also loved the complimentary drinks, coffee, and light breakfast items like granola and yogurt, a perfect, easy start to the day. This was such a relaxing, effortless getaway with everything thoughtfully taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, clean, and welcoming place to stay.

The Victorian is a charming inn located right near Main St in Kent, CT! Surrounded by b the beautiful fall colors outside and immaculate decorated Victorian decor, we greatly enjoyed our trip to this pristinely maintained Victorian home. Rooms were pretty big and super clean and had fun decor themes. The interior was a particular delight as each room had a historically whimsical theme and we enjoyed the thoughtfulness in maintaining historical facade, while maintaining modern amenities. The chef’s kitchen, library, bar, board games and sitting rooms were all lovely to lounge in the evening. Snacks were an added bonus and enjoyed our time near the fire pit outside as well. Quiet hours were strictly enforced as noise travels in old homes, but we did not struggle with any noise from other guests. Service must be commended as the innkeeper (Joe) and housekeeper (Darla) were consummate professionals - warm, friendly and welcoming to this small town! This is place is worth every penny - can’t wait to come visit again!

Excellent experience. The location is great, the place is fantastic, cozy, clean, the room was perfect for us. The only thing I don't understand is why they don't offer breakfast, since they seem to have the space and a full kitchen.

A wonderful Inn. An old'ish building outside and modern & chic inside. All the staff we encountered were delightful. Everything was clean and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable with plush linens. They use eco-friendly soap products and Who Gives A Crap toilet paper which earned bonus points from me! (We have this at home). No in-room coffee-making facilities, but a well stocked coffee and snack bar is provided downstairs. The only negative was a lack of storage in our room: there was a small cupboard/wardrobe and no drawers, so this is definitely for short stays only.

The cottage was beautifully appointed with a magnificent kitchen complete with Miele appliances and everything you could need. I am a fussy sleeper and I slept so well on the king size bed. The air conditioning was excellent. The living room area was very comfortable and our two grown sons slept well in the upstairs bunk room. There is a charming fire pit with chairs outside the cottage and directly behind it the kitchen and bar restaurant had a very welcoming environment and excellent homemade chicken soup. Down the road we ate at Wilson’s, which was excellent for coffee, bagels, etc. The area is super charming and walkable. I would definitely stay there again.

A perfect house in a quaint town with beautiful furnishings, friendly staff, beautiful landscaping And so peaceful and relaxing! Don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re visiting Kent Connecticut ! The staff allowed me to have a late check out and even sit and relax in the backyard before I left. There’s a wonderful kitchenette that has all kinds of snacks many varieties of coffee and tea and plenty of cold drinks .. just a perfect serene, relaxing weekend.
