Lanzhou Asia-Europe International High Altitude Atour S Hotel

Staying at Atour has become a habit for me, but this is my first time experiencing Atour S. The room is a bit bigger than usual and very clean. Before checking in, the front desk lady informed us about the upstairs renovation and arranged everything perfectly, even providing earplugs. I was pleasantly surprised that they even washed my unfinished laundry and delivered it back to the room.

The room facilities are complete, comfortable, spacious, and tidy. The location is excellent. The front desk staff recommended the Starlight Night Market, which is conveniently located right by the Yellow River and has delicious food. The breakfast selection is also very rich. I highly recommend this hotel, five stars!

After a trip around Northwest China, Lanzhou was our first stop! I debated between two hotels in the same building based on online reviews and location, but ultimately chose Atour for its brand and overall reputation. The experience was fantastic! The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. You can watch the sunset from the hotel lobby, which is beautiful! Our room offered great views of Lanzhou city and its night lights, very comfortable. The pillows and other room amenities were all Atour branded, making for a great night's sleep. The room's cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and all the hotel staff were warm and professional. My only complaint is that the navigation was terrible, leading us down a small alley, and there was no hotel staff guiding guests on the ground floor. I'd suggest the hotel improve this.

The room was absolutely fantastic, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Being able to see the Lanzhou night view from my room was just amazing. It's also super close to both Zhengning Road Night Market and Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street, easily within walking distance.

Overall, my stay was very good. The hotel is in a great location, and the breakfast selection is rich and high-quality. They offer a free gym and dry-cleaning service, making the facilities comprehensive and practical. I was very satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and amenities. It's excellent value for money; to get this kind of setup and experience for just over 400 yuan is incredibly cost-effective. However, the check-in experience with some front desk staff significantly impacted my overall impression. The first female employee who assisted me during check-in was extremely unprofessional, lacked communication skills, and had a perfunctory attitude. I had to wait over ten minutes for check-in without being proactively informed or having any reasonable arrangements made. When I asked about the waiting time, her response was curt. I tried to have my family wait in the hotel's lounge area but was told it wasn't allowed, causing us to go back and forth. There was no thoughtful guidance throughout, which was very frustrating and made for a terrible experience. Fortunately, a different front desk staff member took over. They were enthusiastic, professional, and patient, communicating smoothly and efficiently completing our check-in with a thoughtful touch, which helped restore some of my positive feelings. In summary: The hotel's hardware, dining, amenities, and environment are all impeccable and highly recommended. The only downside is that some front desk staff have a weak service意识 (service awareness), are unskilled, and lack communication, leading to inconsistent service levels. I hope the hotel can strengthen professional training and service management for its front desk staff to standardize service and prevent such poor reception issues from recurring.

The room was on a super high floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of Lanzhou city. The mattress was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so it wasn't noisy at all despite being in a busy area. The bathroom was clean, and the toiletries were of high quality. Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial district and night market, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. You can even enjoy authentic beef noodles for breakfast. Overall, the facilities are very new, and the service is attentive. Staying here in Lanzhou allows you to enjoy both easy travel and great sightseeing.

Every time I visit Lanzhou, I stay here. It's super convenient, with a shopping mall, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby. Zhengning Road Night Market and Nanguan Muslim Night Market are close, and Zhangye Road Night Market isn't far either. Downstairs, there are many small eateries that cater to office workers in the area, and the food is quite good. The service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast spread is comprehensive, even offering freshly made noodles and wontons. The bedding is very comfortable, and being on a high floor, the views are expansive. If you like seeing the Yellow River, you can let them know in advance to get a room with the right orientation. Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The high floor offered a magnificent view that was stunning both day and night. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around and go shopping. The staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service, making my stay comfortable and worry-free. It offers great value for money!
