The hotel's location is super convenient! It's a 5-minute walk to Casa Batlló and close to Passeig de Gràcia. You can even walk to Sagrada Família in about 20 minutes. Downstairs there's a really affordable express supermarket, and lots of great restaurants nearby! The Lato breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of tapas options too. The service was excellent. The pool is small but cute. We were lucky enough to be there when Spain won the World Cup, and the hotel felt very safe.

This hotel boasts an excellent central location, just a five-minute walk from Gran Vía and fifteen minutes from the Sagrada Familia. However, for a five-star hotel, the facilities are more on par with a four-star establishment. The room was small, and the wooden structure meant we couldn't open the window, which led to a damp, musty smell. The gym also requires leaving the hotel and walking another 50 meters. Overall, the value for money isn't great.

Seriously, Chinese guests, book this hotel with caution! I booked a relatively more expensive room type, only to find out it was an end-of-hall room with a massive pillar right in the middle. Fine, whatever. But then I looked out the window, which offered a partial, obscured view of the hotel pool. It felt incredibly unsafe, like a creepy basement peeking situation. Despite closing the bathroom door tightly, water still leaked out when showering, flooding the floor around the sink. The soundproofing is terrible. It was a connecting room with a locked door leading to the next room, something not mentioned on the booking page. I could hear every word and game sound from the neighboring room crystal clear, which was very disruptive. I even asked the Trip.com customer service to negotiate a room change with the hotel front desk, but they refused. Later, I checked the reviews and found a negative one from a Chinese guest a few months ago, describing the exact same room type and issues we encountered 😂 I won't be coming back.

Facilities: The shower design is truly something else. When I walked in, I noticed the wooden floor was already warped. Sure enough, after a shower, water flooded everywhere. Everything overflowed. It would have been a disaster if I had left my luggage nearby. Also, previous reviews mentioned the hotel provided slippers and disposable toothbrushes. We stayed in February 2026 and only found slippers. We asked the front desk, and they said toothbrushes weren't provided. However, on our third day, they suddenly left disposable toothbrushes for us, so I'm a bit confused about whether they actually offer them or not. On a positive note, the hotel offers two free bottles of mineral water daily, which is a rare and welcome perk in European hotels. Location: The hotel is very close to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, both within walking distance. Sagrada Família isn't far either. While the hotel's proximity to the metro is convenient, we often felt vibrations, which was a minor inconvenience. Our room didn't have any pillars, but it was street-facing, and you could see into the room from the street at night. Housekeeping efficiency was a bit inconsistent; we requested cleaning before heading to Casa Milà in the morning, but by 3 PM, our room still hadn't been cleaned. The next day, it seemed back to normal. Overall, though, the experience was quite good. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and there's a parking garage nearby.

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and the Gothic Quarter. The facilities are relatively new, and the room size is good. The air conditioning is quiet and heats effectively, and the shower has great hot water pressure, which was wonderful for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The service was also fantastic. Our flight arrived in Barcelona in the morning, and when we went straight to the hotel, the front desk warmly welcomed us and allowed us to check in early, which was a huge relief and helped us rest and recover from our travels sooner!

The room had a strong odor and poor ventilation. The hot and cold water didn't cycle automatically, so I had to constantly jump out of the stream while showering to avoid getting scalded. The staff didn't understand English, so communication was impossible. Housekeeping times were inconsistent each day, and if you missed them, the room wouldn't be cleaned. Be prepared for an argument if you need to speak with the front desk, as they are known for their bad attitude.

Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with restaurants, attractions, and the subway all within walking distance, making getting around a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were very efficient. The hotel also offers complimentary luggage storage, which is a huge plus for early arrivals or late flights, as you don't have to drag your bags everywhere. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a quiet stay. All the facilities were well-maintained. Both the hotel's common areas and rooms have a modern feel, and I was quite satisfied with my experience. The only thing I think could be improved is the bathroom design. The bathroom door is made of frosted glass, which, while providing some cover, still allows you to see silhouettes and movements from the bedroom. The privacy isn't as good as one might expect. This might not be a big issue for couples, but it could be a bit awkward if you're staying with friends or family. I hope the hotel considers improving the bathroom's privacy in the future.
