Younger guests seeking minimalist, modern design might find it a bit traditional. ## Facilities & Services 1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided. 2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side. 3. **Leisure:** The pool isn't huge, better suited for relaxation than extended swimming. The spa has an excellent reputation with professional therapists. The gym is open 24/7 with a full range of equipment. 4. **Service:** The front desk is efficient, and Globalist benefits are well-executed. Chinese-speaking staff are available. The hotel upholds the strong attention to detail and consistency expected of a long-standing five-star property. 5. **Ambiance:** Features a high-ceilinged lobby with a blend of European and Thai decor, exuding an 'Old Money' vibe. While well-maintained, it has a sense of history rather than a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

Booked this for a friend. The location is absolutely central, right above the Erawan Shrine, with shopping and dining options all around. Although the price was quite inflated due to Chinese New Year, the overall stay experience made it acceptable.

The location is truly excellent, the decor is stylish, and the service is top-notch. It really lives up to the standards of a long-standing five-star hotel and offers great value for money. During the Chinese New Year, they were very accommodating with an early check-in and late check-out, which was incredibly helpful. The only minor drawback is that even though they assigned me a room away from the metro line, it was still a bit noisy. However, that's more a Bangkok issue than a fault of the hotel itself.

It's a hotel full of legends, highly recommended! Plus, it's perfectly situated for a great shopping experience after you've been out and about.

The location is fantastic, with the Erawan Shrine right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel itself has a beautiful traditional Thai style with a lovely wooden interior. It's definitely worth the price. Although the light switches look a bit dated, they are well-maintained and don't affect functionality. It was a little damp, so next time I'll ask for a dehumidifier.

The location is superb, right next to the Erawan Shrine, making it very convenient for getting around.
