M Hotel Singapore City Centre

📍 Location - Excellent location, very near Tanjong Pagar MRT. - Plenty of food options and supermarkets nearby. 🛏️ Room - We were assigned an older room on the 16th floor. - Our friend stayed on the 23rd floor, where the room was noticeably more updated and modern. - Our room and toilet were clean, but the overall room felt dated. 🔊 Soundproofing - Soundproofing was quite poor. - We could hear people talking and footsteps clearly from outside the room. - Compared with other hotels we’ve stayed at, the sound insulation could be much better. 🛎️ Service - Service was average overall. - When we first arrived, there was no one at the entrance to open the doors or assist with our luggage, as the staff were stationed at the other entrance for guests arriving by car. - Check-in service was good, and the staff were friendly and lovely. - The hotel’s AI service was a nice touch. Requested items were delivered very quickly, within about 5 minutes. 🍳 Breakfast - Good enough with a decent variety of options. - However, the selection and quality were not quite comparable to a 5-star hotel level. 🏊 Pool & Facilities - Pool area looked quite old but was clean. - The jacuzzi also looked very dated, so I personally didn’t feel comfortable using it. 💧 Water Filter - The water filter machine was not very user-friendly. - It only allows you to fill water using a cup, while the provided water jug doesn’t fit properly. We had to fill the cup first and then transfer the water into the jug. - I’ve experienced more convenient water filtration systems at other hotels. Overall - Great location and friendly check-in staff, with very fast service through the AI system. However, the older room, poor soundproofing and dated facilities were areas that could be improved.

The room is sparkling clean, friendly concierge, staffs at the restaurant, comfortable bed, massive TV and great Hotel!
