Sushi Light Luxury Hotel (Shanghai Bund Chenghuang Temple Branch)

Room Environment: The room facilities are a bit dated, and there are not many TV channels, but overall, it's clean and tidy. Service: The front desk staff were great, even proactively asking if we had enough water and offering more if needed. The cleaning aunties were also lovely, very polite, and would ask if we needed any refills on toiletries. Right after check-in, as we were going up to our room with two large suitcases, a staff member who looked like a maintenance worker in the same elevator even helped us push our luggage. All the hotel staff were very friendly. Surroundings: There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby. It's very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. The Bund and City God Temple are also within walking distance.

I came to Shanghai by myself and after some research, I found this hotel to be the most convenient. After checking in, I discovered it was exceptionally clean and tidy – highly recommend! It's close to everything! I even had enough time to wake up, go see the Bund at night, and come back, haha.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Shanghai. First off, the room size was perfect for two people, and it was spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping and timely replenishment of amenities. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early, and they allowed us to check in ahead of time. The weather wasn't great during our stay, but the laundry and drying facilities were very convenient and fast. Ordering takeout was also a breeze; honestly, everything in Shanghai has a queue, and sometimes ordering takeout at the hotel was quicker and tasted just as good as going out to eat. As for transportation, it's very close to the subway station, just across the road, making transfers to places like Disneyland and the Science and Technology Museum super convenient. Plus, the Bund is about a 5-minute walk away. From the nearby ferry terminal, you can take a 2 yuan ferry to Dongchang Road Terminal on the other side, and then it's just a sky bridge walk to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Regarding noise, with the window open during the day, it was a bit noisy because of the shops below, and with the window closed, there was a faint sound. However, it was very quiet at night, practically silent. All in all, I was very pleased with this stay.
