Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort Yangzhou

Searching for five-star hotels on Ctrip, Yangzhou Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort came up as number one, so we chose it. It was our first stay, and we were extremely satisfied. The service was absolutely top-notch. The young lady at the front desk was very gentle and, seeing that we had both elderly and children, proactively upgraded us to a family suite. The room was excellent and spacious, with comfortable activity and washroom areas. The bedding was also very clean and comfortable! The resort grounds are also large enough; if you want to stroll around or let the kids play without leaving, it's perfectly accommodating. Crucially, it's directly opposite the East Gate of Slender West Lake Scenic Area, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the attractions, plus you can enjoy the hot springs. The Xiangyuan dim sum restaurant at the entrance is also fantastic; after trying Yangzhou dim sum for several days, I felt this one was the best! There are shuttle buses within the resort; if you don't want to walk, just contact the butler a few minutes in advance, and they'll pick you up and drop you off, making it very convenient to get around the resort. All the staff have a high level of service awareness, are polite, and very perceptive. In short, we were very satisfied with this stay, and it will be our top choice for our next visit to Yangzhou. This hotel must have a very professional management team with strong service awareness and philosophy 👍

Awesome! I regret not staying here directly! The rooms were quite popular during the National Day holiday, but the service was still super good! It's definitely a great place to bring kids! We got an upgrade and really liked the courtyard in Building 4. The hot springs were also very comfortable, with a good variety of pools, and fresh towels available for changing. Each room had a small pony toy, and since I had two kids, I asked 'Radish Butler' for another one, and they were very responsive. Every afternoon there were craft activities, and even a partnered travel photography service. So many activities, the kids had a blast. The hotel is right next to Slender West Lake, and Xiangyuan restaurant is also within walking distance, very close. That's why we didn't have breakfast at the hotel; Xiangyuan received unanimous praise from me and the kids!!! I highly recommend their crab roe noodles, Santingbao (three-filling bun), Wudingbao (five-filling bun), and wontons!

Overall, a very satisfying stay! There were plenty of activities, and the service was exceptional—staff were ready to accommodate any request. The shuttle service was also very prompt. The only downside was that the room facilities were noticeably dated, and the water wasn't quite hot enough. Everything else was great.

This is my second stay at this hotel. Compared to my visit over a decade ago, the room facilities are a bit dated now. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right by Slender West Lake Scenic Area, with the East Gate directly opposite. The hotel also boasts a hot spring with indoor and outdoor pools, plus many small animals, making it perfect for a family vacation with kids. The breakfast is good. For dinner, you'll need to venture out; Yangzhou Yan is right next to the hotel, or you can head into the city for more options. The hotel even allows food delivery services to bring meals directly to your room. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the service, and parking is very convenient.

The hotel has an elegant ambiance, and the service is great. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, there's no place to hang dry clothes in the courtyard, and the soundproofing isn't very good. The petting zoo and hot spring park are lovely with plenty of fun things to do, though they do require an extra charge.

The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. It's just a 2-minute walk to Quyuan Teahouse and Yangzhou Feast. There are also plenty of animal feeding activities for kids on-site, easily keeping them entertained for a whole day.

The service was excellent. Since I was traveling with elderly family members and a child, the hotel upgraded our room and arranged for adjacent rooms, which was very thoughtful. We also received complimentary fruit and lotus root powder! 👍👍👍

Two rooms, refer to the other review. Overall, it's great and suitable for seniors and children. Wishing everyone a happy holiday, I recommend coming during off-peak times; there are fewer people, the scenery is beautiful, and it's delightful.

Because I was traveling with my dog, I booked a villa. Parking was very convenient, and the security guard at the South Gate provided excellent service, enthusiastically giving directions and even helping us call a car to the West Gate. All the hotel staff were very friendly and would greet us proactively. When we needed items delivered or the hot spring water turned on, they were always prompt. It's definitely worth staying again. The hotel is also very close to Slender West Lake and surrounded by many dining options. Great! 👍
