Inn on Shore Road

We had such a wonderful time in Ogunquit. My daughter and I decided to do a girls trip and our first time to visit Ogunquit. We checked into the Inn on shore Road and had such an amazing time. Garrison was the absolute best he made us feel so welcome and at home and paid attention to even the smallest of details. Our room was super comfortable and so clean. Lisa who prepares breakfast did an amazing job in her afternoon treats were outstanding, I think I gained 5 pounds lol. You can really tell the difference when you stay at a place where they really care about their guest and this was truly proven by Garrison‘s warm and friendly demeanor. Thank you for such an amazing time we will be back.

Very clean room, comfortable bed and bedding, breakfast was delicious! Easy check in/check out. We will be excited to stay here again!

The room was clean, wonderfully decorated, and the breakfast served every morning was delicious! I especially enjoyed the 24/7 coffee/tea bar.

Lovely place, clean, great staff, nice breakfast, convenient to walking Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Loved our time at Inn on Shore Road.

We were here in May and we always enjoy our stays here. Abby, the innkeeper, is a big reason we keep coming back. She’s warm, welcoming, and makes us feel right at home. The Inn itself is beautifully designed inside, with so much charm and attention to detail. It is also very clean. Breakfast is always delicious, and the other innkeeper Lisa is also very kind. And both innkeepers are great cooks! The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the grounds. Under the previous owners, the flowers, lawn, and picket fence gave the property a cozy, homey feel that really stood out. While the inside of the Inn is still wonderful, the outside just doesn’t have the same care and character it once did. That said, we will continue to return because of the hospitality, the comfort, and of course Abby and Lisa.

Stayed here and couldn’t get over the yummy cake they served at night and the hot fresh breakfast in the cutest basket ever. The bed was so comfy and we also loved the location and fire pit. It was the perfect stay and we look forward to returning year after year.

Great location, good breakfast. BUT……… Old , tiny bedroom with small sitting area furnished with some good furnishings which were too large for the room which made the place smaller. Dingy tiny bathroom . Our room was upstairs, no elevator. Beautiful town but we were pretty miserable in our room . Went and sat at other places at night.
