Hotel dei Duchi

Great location, good breakfast, relatively spacious for 3, very clean, has window,

Location excellent for exploring the old part of the town, castle, bridge etc. Rooms are very pleasant and the beds extremly comforatable. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful, and all in alll it was a very good experience. If we were in the area again we wouldnt hesitate to book here again.

The hotel is very nice, with nature through the windows, a nice balcony, a good breakfast experience, nice location and rooms. The shower was hot and had plenty of water. It was clean and the staff was nice. It was strange that the bar didn’t open until 6 p.m. so after a day of excurssions we couldn’t have an early evening drink. There was not really a place nearby to have one either. Once the bar opened, the atmosphere was good. There is a nice outdoor area to relax with food and drink in addition to the indoor areas.

The rooms are very clean, it has a nice lobby to sit and the breakfast was good with a big buffet and lots of choice. We stayed only for 1 night and would choose it again when staying in the area. The location is good for exploring Spoleto, but also for daytrips to neighboring places. Several restaurants are nearby in walking distance. Parking is available as well and we were glad we still got a parking although we didn’t reserve it beforehand; staff was pretty helpful with this.

Hotel provided by Overseas Adventure Travel (Grand Circle). Hotel was lovely, great location, staff was helpful

I was disappointed that the food served at breakfast was the same all three days that we stayed at the hotel. The service was poor the first 2 mornings, but the 3rd morning there was more staff and breakfast service was better. The reception staff was very nice. The location is very convenient for visiting Spoleto and driving to other locations like Assisi or Spello . There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is reasonably priced. If it wasn't for breakfast, I would have given them a 5.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying at Hotel Duchi in Mid October. We were biking from Perugia to Orvieto and it was one of our favorite stops. We LOVED that our room had a balcony overlooking the ancient amphitheater and that it was next to a large public park. But we really loved the staff. We got a flat tire outside of Spoleto and walked the last few miles. The front desk guy kindly connected us with staff member Stefano, who stepped in and changed the tire for us (he's an avid cyclist). Helpful and lovely staff!
