Hotel Palacio del Carmen, Autograph Collection

The location was only a short walk from the busy streets near the centre of town. Perfectly quiet to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The building itself isn’t the most beautiful to look at but they have tried to retain many of the original Galician features. The bar and gardens are great places to relax and have a drink. The food was average and we only had one meal there, so many much better options in the centre of town. Disappointed with the delay in checking in. We arrived at 2pm and we knew we were early and they told us to come back at 3pm. We returned at 5pm and were told our room still wasn’t ready. We only had to wait 10 minutes, but as a gold Marriott Bonvoy member we expected a better service with checking in.

Good accomodation, location near The Cathedral, free parking, tasty breakfast, kind personnel.

a very nice and cozy hotel Fall in love with it at first sight. The staff was very nice too. Introduced everything we need know for our few days' trip in Santiago. Only 10 to 15 mins away from Cathedral.
