Courtyard Stamford Downtown

Good location; both safe and convenient. Front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. Housekeeping was accommodating. Parking and valet service was greatly appreciated.

I stay at this hotel every year for my husbands birthday, location is key close to restaurants, bars, shopping

Pictures are misleading. After shower the water dropped throughout the night on a metal covered shower drain so constantly heard the water drops on metal while sleeping. Victoria very rude when confirming reservations. Walls are very thin.. can hear people talking. Charging ports in the couch that has USB ports were not working because the metal prongs were bent. Very low water pressure in the showers, no vents in the bathroom, shower lever felt like it was going to fall off. Asked front desk how to turn on shower spotlight but did not know how. View was gravel and next building. Guests need to pay to have their cars parked there. Only good part was the quick car valet when texting them.

The hotel is centrally located, clean and well staffed. Everybody was very nice and helpful. There is another Marriott that connects to this one in which you can use the amenities. Ask the staff about it it’s worth it - especially the gym

Great hotel. I did not have a chance to visit the gym or the pool/hot tub but overall experience was very nice. I did notice a large wet spot in my room near the bathroom and the shower was a walk in with only a half fixed glass and the other half open. The open half did not keep the water from splattering over the floor. Poos design for a shower. Also, when I picked up my car from the valet the driver's side window was wide open and it felt like they left the window open all night. Very glad nothing valuable was in the car.

For the price I would expect to have toiletries or trash bags in the trash cans or even a blanket on the bed. They also deactivated our room keys 2 hours before checkout so we got locked out. There didn’t offer room service for breakfast only lunch and dinner is offered. It’s the little things and conveniences that are missing that are annoying.

It’s a great location close to great restaurants and night life

Room was clean, staff was rather friendly, valet guys were great.
