We spent 6 days at the Mondrian Singapore Duxton (2 rooms for my husband, myself, and our two young adult daughters) and we had a really lovely stay. The hotel's location is absolutely excellent, and the property itself is beautiful. Our rooms featured gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the city skyline.The highlight for us was definitely the rooftop pool, which offers a fantastic atmosphere. However, we did notice that the property could benefit from better maintenance in a few areas. For instance, several plants around the pool area were neglected or dead, and the sink in one of our two rooms was clogged.The breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of choices. However, as Europeans, we found the fruit selection quite disappointing. It mostly featured fruits that are common to us, like apples, bananas, melon, and oranges. We were really expecting and hoping to enjoy their delicious local tropical fruits.A special mention goes to our last evening at the Jungle Ballroom. The atmosphere with the live DJ and the bar was great fun. A huge thank you to the two managers/bartenders, Ez and Faqrin, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and exceptionally skilled at making cocktails! We would certainly recommend this hotel, hoping they will fine-tune these small details to make the guest experience even more perfect.
