OZO Phuket

There is a sewage river running through the hotel grounds, and the beach access is right where it empties into the sea. The rooms are small, and so is the property. The only pros are its central city location and the direct beach access.

The hotel has a great location, which is a big plus :) Markets, plenty of shops, and a 7-Eleven are all nearby. The rooms are small and didn't come with a balcony, so there was nowhere to dry our clothes. Please note that not all rooms have balconies, which wasn't very clear when booking (((. The wardrobe for clothes is located in the bathroom 🤨. We wouldn't rate this as a high-end hotel. The location is good, but that's about it 😊.

Wonderful hotel. The sea is 150 meters away. There are 3 pools, 2 of which are for children. I definitely recommend it for families with kids. Excellent breakfasts.

The accommodation was extremely clean, and the water pressure was amazing. After checking out, we were able to store our luggage and still use the hotel facilities. It was especially great that we could take a shower before heading to the airport in the shower room located inside the 1st-floor restroom. There is a small night market right in front of the hotel, and a 7-Eleven is right outside. Through the back door of the hotel, there is a dedicated guests-only path to the beach, so you can reach the sandy shore in just 5 minutes. The location is the best, everything you need is nearby: the beach, the market, currency exchange offices, and shops!

As long as you book a room with a balcony, you can avoid all the negative points mentioned in other reviews, such as dampness, weird smells, windows facing a smelly ditch, and loud motorcycles on the street keeping you awake at night. This is because all rooms with balconies face the interior garden and swimming pool of OZO Phuket, making it very quiet at night! This time I booked a one-bedroom suite. Let's start with the pros: The room size is genuinely spacious, featuring a separate living room and bedroom! The balcony even comes with a clothes rack for drying swimsuits. The kids' pool layout is very well-designed. Although not huge, it caters well to both toddlers and older children! Breakfast is decent—nothing amazing, but definitely not bad. Guests with Chinese palates will have no problem getting full! The location is unbeatable; its location alone makes OZO Phuket worth staying at! It's a 3-minute walk from the back door to Kata Beach, and the entrance is surrounded by restaurants! Cons: No slippers or conditioner are provided, and you need to ask for a toothbrush at the front desk. Soundproofing is a bit poor because most rooms are connecting rooms. However, given this location and price, these minor flaws are totally acceptable!

The location is definitely the biggest advantage of OZO Phuket. There is a 7-Eleven right across the street, and the Kata Night Market and the beach are just a 2-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and massage parlors nearby. It's also quite convenient for getting to Rawai Pier and joining island-hopping tours. The surrounding area is truly very convenient. The hotel breakfast was quite good—better than I expected, and the kids really loved the donuts. We stayed in a family room, which was very convenient for traveling with elderly family members and children. Upon check-in, we received a 10% discount voucher for food and beverages, as well as a discount promo for downloading a ride-hailing app. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: OZO Phuket is an apartment-style hotel and quite new! The service was good; the staff actively helped us with our luggage to the room! The room was cleaned daily, and the bedsheets were changed every day! Breakfast was abundant with a wide variety of options! Many suitable for children! It's also close to the beach, just a 3 to 5-minute walk from the back entrance! Cons: The room was very small (Deluxe Twin Room), and the beds were also very small and narrow! I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is a bit on the heavier side! Plus, the beds moved around easily! There's a door on the right side of the room, and its doorknob kept scraping my arm multiple times, which was painful! I reported it to the staff, and they apologized, but no remedial action was taken! There was no conditioner, and the hotel shampoo made my hair very dry and tangled after washing, which was very uncomfortable! I asked the front desk if they had conditioner, and they said the shampoo already contained it. However, after washing, my hair was tangled and extremely dry! If you have long hair, I suggest bringing your own shampoo! The price for three nights, nearly 2600 yuan, was still very expensive, so the value for money isn't great.

The front desk staff are very efficient, and the breakfast offers options for kids, including porridge and fruit, with food to suit all tastes. The sun loungers by the kids' pool are conveniently placed so you can keep an eye on your little one. It's a great hotel, highly recommended.
