Vaquera House

Yep: Vaquera House is perfection!!! Basically, we wanted to move in permanently. Everything and everyone were wonderful: the service; the rooms; the design features and vibe; the food and drink..... Literally everything. Our family group of two couples loved every bit and wanted to stay forever. Crested Buttle is definitely gorgeous and fun and worth a trip, but Vaquera House is also an unexpected gem. Thank you!!!

We always enjoy staying at Vaquera House. One of our favorite aspects has been the breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately on this visit the breakfast had gone notably downhill. While they had the same menu as before the quality of the main food dishes was notably less than before. As a result we ended up eating out for breakfast after our first meal. Hopefully the quality gets back up to before as it used to be delicious

Nice location. Friendly staff. Views are not great - we have been placed twice in a room that looks out into the neighboring building that is very close to the property. Nice showers but no bathtub. Coffee in unit but no creamer. S'mores are a nice touch. Hot tub was lukewarm and closed earlier than ideal. But a nice option for crested butte

Whether you're a hiker, skier, or simply looking to relax in the mountains, this hotel is the perfect choice. Walk to Elk Avenue for dining and shopping. A definite must stay!

I kind of want to gate keep this amazing b&b, but the accommodations and staff were so lovely I have to share our experience! We stayed between Christmas and New Years and felt like we were welcome guests in a luxurious home. Erinn gave amazing recommendations so we could arrange for our ski days and apres activities. Hope prepared wonderful breakfasts each day and left delicious snacks for later on. In the evenings, we enjoyed hanging out in the expansive “living room” area, playing pool and watching movies. Vaquera House would be ideal for groups since the shared spaces are intimate. The rooms are all located upstairs and the kitchen and common areas are below. Easy access to walk into town or catch the ski shuttle. Definitely exceeded expectations.
