The Ritz-Carlton, Denver

Very nice rooms. Very clean. Great hotel! Everything you’d expect from a Ritz.

The Ritz Denver is underwhelming. Lackluster lobby, tired furnishings. The room was fine but every piece of furniture showed obvious wear and tear. There was nothing about this stay that was worth the $600+ price tag. Very disappointing. In a downtown filled with hotel choices, save your money and book elsewhere. Plus side - Michelle is a gem. Champagne offered at check in.

Staff was courteous however, the restaurant and bar closed early. The pillows were to small and the mattress to firm. Other Ritz properties have different bedding.

The hotel is generally outdated, pillows and linens are in dire need of an upgrade. Spa and hotel staff were good, but restaurant and bar staff were rude and unaccommodating.

Did not get to test the Spa services this time.

We broke up our family vacation on the way to the mountains in order to stay at our favorite Ritz Carlton! Just a dab of luxury in the midst of down-home family time puts a skip in our step and eases tensions and stress.

Room was not ready on time. They did upgrade us but the room’s bathroom was so dark we could not see. They then brought in a floor lamp for the bathroom. Someone signed for our Amazon package delivered to front desk but they couldn’t find it and never offered to reimburse us.
