Decent place for an overnight stay while waiting for your seaplane transfer. Very convenient location and surprisingly good rooftop restaurant, average breakfast.

view outside is nice, rooms are big. not the cleanest, you would not use the bathtub and the sofa have holes from cigarettes butt. could have given more toilet paper at checkin (tried to call reception but no answer)

Great hotel located at an excellent location. Right on the Hulhumalé beachfront. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly. They will arrange airport pickup and dropoff. And they offer good breakfast as well.

Coral Grand is a lovely spot to stay in Hulhumale for the start or end of your trip to the Maldives! We had a night here before leaving and the staff especially were the highlight. Super helpful, always available and upgraded our room to give us a better experience. The beach is beautiful and only a minute walk away from the hotel plus there and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby! To get into Male its also very quick and cheap, the hotel staff helped us get a taxi organised every time. Overall super happy with our stay here and would use them again on our next trip!

Facilities: Quite old. Cleanliness: Very average. There's no comparison to hotels in China. Environment: Right by the sea. You can take a walk downstairs in the evening after checking in. Service: The staff are quite responsible and down-to-earth.

The hotel was ok. For one night it was ok. The breakfast was not good, we ended up going for breakfast at a local cafe. The problem was noise, there was a continuous beeping which sounds like a safe being opened all through the night. So if you’re a light sleeper I would avoid.

After seeing countless recommendations from various Chinese bloggers, I stayed here for one night as a transit hotel… How do I put it? Two people couldn't even move around in the room, it was so cramped 🤣. Locking the door sounded exactly the same as not locking it. The bathroom odor was so strong I almost threw up. Aside from the surfaces I absolutely had to touch to sleep, I didn't dare touch anything else… The owner downstairs collected the tax the night before, but the staff tried to collect it again the next morning… However, the hotel is right by the sea, which is definitely convenient.

The service and the check-in upon arrival was really good. However, during my stay, the bathroom had a very bad unpleasant smell every time I was going in and I did not know from where it came from. Overall, the location and facilities outside the hotel are pleasant.
